Intro
Battle of the sexes will be exactly that, a SINGLE ELIMINATION tournament to see which gender reigns supreme.
It will be a doubles tournament, where players will partner up with a player of the same gender as themselves.
The tournament will have 16 total participants (8 Teams of 2)
I will only be accepting 4 All male teams and 4 all female teams.
I realize sign ups may take some time due to the possible lack of initial female interest, however I am more than willing to wait to ensure that this tournament is as exciting as it can be!
Matchups
Matchups will be drawn for at random, however in the first round teams can only be matched up against opposite gender teams, after that anything goes!
It will be a 3 game series in each round to determine the winner(all 3 games will be played at once), loser will be eliminated from the tournament. And there will be a 3rd place game as well.
Game Settings
The game set up will be as follows:
4 players, Doubles, Automatic troop placement, sequential, flat rate, chained forts, no fog, no trench, 20 round limit (replay map in the event of a tie) 24 hour turns.
Maps
Each team will need to also pick a map of choice (Lasts for entire tournament) when they sign up, this will serve as their home map. Each team will get to play a game on their home map and the third map will be set to random mode.
Requirements
4.5 rating or higher
95% or higher turns taken
Aiming for 1200 point average between both partners, however I may have to be somewhat lenient if we struggle to find female teams.
Willing to play ALL 3 Games at one time!!! MEANING if you are not premium (Which is preferred) then during this tournament you will only have 1 open slot for non-tournament related games.
