Before you fill out the form it is your responsibility to ensure that the code is at least valid. To do this you can use the "Test XML For Errors" tool at the top of the Conquer Club Map Maker page found via this link:
http://www.conquerclub.com/mapmaker/index.php
Use the Browse button to find the XML file that you saved on your computer and then click the "Test XML" button. If you see "Success XML is valid. see test results." you have written your code in the proper way. On the other hand, if you read "Error XML is invalid. see test results." , it means that you did something in the wrong way. In this case scroll down to the bottom of the Map Maker page and read the test result to find out what is wrong.
Usually all the XML files in this thread are checked for the first time within a week from the date in which they are posted. If something needs to be fixed, the Foundry XML Checker will post in the map thread or send you a PM with a list of things that need to be changed.
In case you're wondering about the current status of the check process of your XML code, the Foundry XML Checker will add a dot to your post that can have 3 different colors:
- RED - the XML has not checked yet
- YELLOW - the XML has been checked but needs more work
- GREEN - the XML has been checked and it's ok
If you want to have your XML approved, remember to post it in this topic. The Foundry XML Checker doesn't read all the map topics, so a request in your map thread can pass unnoticed.
Gilligan's (The current Foundry XML Checker) list of XMLs to check
1. Temple of Jinn
2. Rail South America
The XMLs will be checked in the order in which they were received.
