F400 Clan Ranking - Needs Repair

Good for you r4lf, coz I had just started the same task Thanks for saving me the bother.

IcePack...just a thought. If it alleviates your workload do you not think it would be a good idea for clans to post their final results here in this thread? Saves you a lot of hassle doing the research, plus it puts the onus on the clans themselves to ensure their result is recorded. If the winning clan is made responsible for posting the result then I'm sure it will get done (or it's their loss).

This way you get the date of the final result (which will be the date it's posted in this thread), the final score(s), and a link to the tourney thread so it may be verified.

I know if I was in your shoes this is what I'd be requesting. And let's face it....every clan knows when it has recorded a final win (whereas you usually don't). Food for thought.

For things like CL4 and this other clan event that dont track this...its what im leaning towards absolutely. With all the RL stuff going on, going thru CL4 results and making corrections was a huge thing. The thread wasn't entirely accurate all the time, or just not updated. (even final scores) and no dates tracked.

I have absolutely no trouble keeping up with CC3 and regular wars, but the events that aren't including dates and organized and updated very well / often, i absolutely will consider something like this. I made a thread awhile back hoping to get some community assistance while i am going thru this, but in the end im willing to do the work if needed.

But before the next CL5 begins (if it does) or anything similar, I will be considering it depending on how the event is run.

The other thing I can do is place responsibility with the organizers, if it's something the CD's won't track and it's something people want included in F400, he would have to provide those essential bits of info for it to be included in the F400.

I have a question, which dates do you put in as dates for entering those matches into system. I am asking because, for example, AOC v KORT match has ended on 6 July, here is last game: Game 11017758
and the whole competition will end when the last game of TOFU v PACK ends, so let s say it will be maybe around 1st November. so will you put date of all those matches 1st November, or you will enter them separately, depending on when each of the mathups have been over?

I was going through the database for clan challenges that have been calculated in. The following match up is incorrect. I went and looked at the completed phase for the Clan League. It should be Magnificent Bastards, not Memento Mori.

Ideally all of these matches would have individual dates for completion. Unfortunately, they don't put completed dates on these war games like they do with a typical war which creates huge amounts of work. If I have a specific date for a war, I will use it. Otherwise, it will get lumped into a large date pool. I attempted to get some community help thru a different thread to collect these dates, but there wasn't much effort to get them.

It doesn't make a huge difference, but there would be some. In the future, CL5 or these other events like it (trophy, cup, etc) I think i will have someone (the winners? or organizers) get me the info if they want the results included in the war. Its hugely burdensome for me to correct every score from every match up and also get dates for each of those dozen or so games they had in CL4. I corrected all the scores i could, but dates have been summed currently.

Ok, updating here tonight (one day late, sorry about that). This should be the last update until Dec 1, sorry but the Nov 15th will get skipped due to RL issues as discussed previously.

This update included all Trophy, Vase, Shield results. All Cup results (except for TOFU vs PACK, there still remains a few games to be completed).
This update also includes CL Ph 3 results, except 3 matches in Div 1 (KORT vs AOC, KORT vs PACK, AOC vs EMP still have yet to complete). However all Div 2, 3, and 4 results are all completed and updated.

This also includes all completed wars I found in both completed and active war areas that were 100% completed.

First of all big thanks to you to do so much job in order to have this list

I realized you have some mistakes here in database, example: PACK RA 38 7 07/14/12 while result were 34/7 link: viewtopic.php?f=442&t=169707

you have also some dates updated wrong (1-2 months mistake). I will volunteer to give you exact dates with links of last finished games for CL4 phase 2 (just for the last finished game where you have wrong date, there are too much job to find last date of all separate math-ups), CL4 phase 3 and CL4 Cup, as those were competitions where my clan participated. I will post it in next 2 days, before 1st Novemberso you can update the list more accurately.

Ok I put some work to have accurately updated recent results, here are corrections need to be made. I was searching only for results from CLCup and CL4 Phase 3, wanted to do it for CL4 Phase 2 but that is a lot of more work that i dont have time now, but there I just found that date of the last finished is wrong. I put link of the last finished game for each of changes that I found.

Yes, the war list and score table has been updated. Most clans points and weights had very minor changes. KORT did get a points boost, I think 10-20 points. (I'd have to look at my previous saved version on the computer...but I'm in bed on my phone).
