I was wondering how many people would be interested in a cheaper version of the Premium Memberships. Would you sign up for it if the rules were: $5/year and 10 games maximum at a time.
There's no need for name calling is there?podge wrote:Cheapskate
And please don't put words in my mouth. I am very appreciative of the makers of this site.podge wrote: Do you have any idea how much time and effort has to go into maintaining and evolving a site like this. Judging by your poll obviously not.
The point is that everyone has different price they're willing to pay. My thinking was that the makers might be able to make more money by offering a lower cost version.
The point of the poll was to see if that might be true.

Ehh sorry but I would have to agree - it's cheap already! Hell many online games are $15 a month. Don't eat Mc Donalds for 2 days or don't rent that anime and you'll be fine for the entire year.
And infact they'd be losing money most likely because I'd guess even most premium accts don't play more than 10 games at a time.
I personally like that it's $20 it makes sure the newbs are serious when they join.

I can understand that some may not be able to afford the $20.00 straight out. However, if you break it down, it is only $1.67 per month...that is a soft drink and a candy bar before the taxes. However, I do agree that this is the cheapest entertainment you will ever find anywhere. Took me a payday to get the money, but love it...and I am maintaining 15 games to keep myself under control.

Enough said.podge wrote:Cheapskate
Most people who don't have premium memberships don't have a credit card to put money on here, and thats why they aren't premo members.
If you lowered the price, is it even worth putting $5 onto your credit card?
And why 10 games..
Spend 4x your idiotic amount, and get the premium account!
Enough said
oh ps. get a job, and you'll earn $20 in about an hour and a half

Is it required to pay via credit card for this site? Sorry, I did, but I believe that you can utilize a checking account. I know a number of people that have checking accounts. Just my $0.02.john1099 wrote:Didn't I just say that sully?john1099 wrote:

You use your checking account, charging yourself $20..
Same thing, most kids don't have a checking account ( I have a savings, you can do it with a savings, but it takes some time) and also, can't be bothered to set up an account with paypal.
Same cake, just a different side of it

Meh, I know I'm a tight arse but I make a point never to spend money on the internet.
Oh, and seeing how dugcarr was banned without a refund for what he'd paid for only further increases that lack of desire...
Yeah I went there... What?? Somebody had to

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
$20
$20 dollars for a year of entertainment is probarly the best value for money i have ever spent, i normally have at least 30 games plus on the go.
THIS SITE IS THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY AROUND
would gladly pay more

maybe you should introduce a new scheme upon which you are allowed to pay gradually by 1 penny sweets? or maybe that would b a 2 cent sweet in america...
joking aside ur rite sully.
as for the tiers of prem membership i think its a good idea. how about making 3 tiers.
1 star - free member $0
2 star - membership won $0
3 star - 20 games maximum $15
4 star - 50 games maximum $20
5 star - unlimited games $25
or the prices could go higher as i imagine that more prems play under 20 games than over 50....
Finally, someone gets it. Thanks Joey.joeyjordison wrote: as for the tiers of prem membership i think its a good idea. how about making 3 tiers.

It's simple economics guys. Just look at the results of the poll to see if Conquer Club could make more money (for server upgrades, for rewards for their hard work, etc.) by offering a lower price option. If they can, great! If they can't, so be it. I care about the site and thought it was worth checking.

For instance, I have money to burn, but because my dad's a buttface and won't let me borrow his credit card, I can't get Premium.sully800 wrote:I think the reason most people don't get premium if they want it is because they don't have access to paypal.
