Well she's not 100% confirmed town. She could be a mafia double voter. I've seen that a few times. Though at the moment I'd say she's much closer to town than mafia.jak111 wrote:Unvote
I am curious as to what roles will help us through the night, but with a mod confirmation of double vote it is clear Illiad is town.

Unvote for now since it sounds like the mod confirmed the double voting.

Well, the deadline is going to force a no lynch, so there's no point in voting "no lynch".Hensow wrote:So as not to see an innocent die
I think you're reading into my posts more than there is (as I already warned in my quoted post). Town, like mafia and third party, have win conditions. Mine could be any of those three. Just because I mentioned it doesn't mean it's particularly different from the norm. In addition, I said there's nothing much we can go on with out some information from night actions. This also does not mean I have a night action (though it is highly probable, as this is a NV game):VioIet wrote:I understand what you are saying Victor, but you did say that you had a win condition. No one told you to say that. You can't backtrack now. Needless to say, not many have voted you, myself included. So though your posts provoked suspicion, we can't really say that you are scummy yet. But you know the nature of day one; people take what little they have and run away with it. If you don't want us discussing your win condition, why mention it in the first place? And now you've hinted that you have a night action. So you are a character with both a win condition and a night action. Interesting.Victor Sullivan wrote:I'm not really sure what you want? It's not like I can do much Day 1 aside from building pointless cases or taking sides on pointless cases. And I'm sure I'm not the only one posting what one might call "fluff". It's easy to be in the midst of things and seem like you're doing more than you are. I mean, many of you are trying way too hard to find something in that post of mine. I feel like that's evidence enough that we've yet again accomplished very little Day 1.
My whole thing is I'm simply stopping in to say, "hello," and let you all know I'm keeping track of the conversation. There's not much else to do without a little night action-action.

Unvote Dont want to accidentally lynch Iliad. Sully easy with the maybe, maybe nots. I understand the thought there, but wishy washy may prove a bad idea as well. And as for the weak cases, yes everyone knows D1 is pure speculation and BS,but we did gain some info from a basic BS case. Close to deadline the only other BS case really up in my mind is of course Sully. Not going to vote right now with deadline this close, I dont believe there is time to pressure you enough to get a claim, but Sully I may come back to it later.
First game with you so I cant WIFOM you, dont anything to go on. Just thinking out loud.

It will be very ironic if I, pressured because of inactivity, am lynched because the people who jumped on my wagon are inactive themselves and don't take away their vote.
Also would someone be lynched even if there's only say two votes on him?

But all you do is post fluff. There essentially wasn't a difference between what I did, which was outright inactivity, and what you did, which was still zero contribution.Victor Sullivan wrote:I'm not really sure what you want? I don't see why it's looking in too hard, considering you've coyly suggested you have a non-town win condition and that you're "enjoying" but not participating in town discussion.

I'm not buying your explanation sully. Saying you have a win condition is like saying the sky is blue. As you yourself pointed out, everyone has a WC. So your post about said win condition adds nothing to your post. I understand it's harder to make cases on day 1, but it does not mean that one can simply skate through the day without saying anything. There's no guarantee that night actions will turn up something useful right away and that's just lazy play to pull the Day 1 low activity card, especially for someone who's been playing for awhile. Trying to justify the WC comment as anything more than fluff is not credible either.

Oh goodness! While I understand why you did what you did safari, I don't know if you realized that you ruined the tied vote. We are trying to make sure that Hensow and Illiad both have 4 votes. Before your post, they both have four votes. Now that you unvoted Illiad, he now has three votes, and Hensow has four. I have my vote on Hensow, so I cannot unvote and vote Illiad, because it would not help the dilemma. And ugh, I feel like I'm rambling, but hopefully you all understand what I'm trying to say here.
Safari, you either need to put your vote back on Illiad, or someone else needs to vote Illiad. I think it would be safer for you to vote Victor tomorrow.

Re: Golden Pantheon - Angels and Demons - D1
Vio, why can't you just unvote so me and Hensow both have 3? That works as well.
We might not have a great deal of time but we could still try to get a case or pressure on Victor today, no reason yet to settle for a no lynch.

Re: Golden Pantheon - Angels and Demons - D1
Can we try and no lynch I'm on four and Iliads on 3, no lynch is on 2 so if a few peps vote it then me and Iliad will be safe from some one ban hamming one of use at the last minute

Both of you are noted in this one. Deadline is fast approaching and instead of adding to the No Lynch you decide to try to make their votes "even" so neither are lynched which a scum could easily unvote or vote at the last second to cause a lynch.soundman wrote:Agreed. I said "I do have a win condition after all" in the following segment of my post:safariguy5 wrote:I'm not buying your explanation sully. ...because I was pointing out that voting an active player to help get rid of scum (if I'm town) is beneficial, so I'm not gonna stick to the 'voting inactives' philosophy no matter what.Victor Sullivan wrote: But, of course, I'm not against voting an active player off 100% of the time... Then I guess you'll have to explain to me what isn't fluff Day 1. All of Day 1 is founded in and sustained with fluff.safariguy5 wrote:I understand it's harder to make cases on day 1, but it does not mean that one can simply skate through the day without saying anything.
I mean Day 2 there is more out there to verify/disprove claims. And my philosophy for voting inactives was for Day 1 only and only on the basis that I'd rather play against good players than with silent ones. You did vote for Iliad, did you not?safariguy5 wrote:There's no guarantee that night actions will turn up something useful right away and that's just lazy play to pull the Day 1 low activity card, especially for someone who's been playing for awhile.
