Slacker Time 1 [WINNER=deantursx]

Post by Dukasaur »

Slacker Time 1

I spend most of my time running tournaments that are way too complicated and take way too much of my time to administer. Now it's July and a young man's thoughts turn to laying under a tree and drinking a beer. I've decided I want to kick back and relax, so this will be the ultimate slacker tournament.

16 players, single-elim simple bracket, one game per round, 1v1.

For the map I've selected Midkemdil, which is a nice laid-back looking map.

The settings are of course CC default (Automatic Escalating Chained Sequential No Fog No Trench) because I sure as hell don't want to stress myself clicking any checkboxes!

Now pass me a beer, and if you have any energy left over, sign up for this totally tubular tournament!

I think random would be much more "slacker" cuz you don't care what the map is. You push a button and poof it decides for you ;)

Also less scrolling thru the maps.

Nah, to select Random map you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list. Man, that's a long way down! My fingers get tired! Midkemdil is only about 60% of the way down way down. 40% here, 40% there, it all adds up!

O:)

Is that an "in" or an "out"?

There is random map button right next to the scroller. No scroll necessary!

Out, it's not lazy enough for my tastes ;)

Wow. I never realized that. No matter how much you think you know, there's always something else.
