Link to My Games from Forums

Nothing big, but it would be nice if the top nav bar had a link to "My Games"

Up top? The part that's not really a seperate frame under the address bar?

A My Games button should be added to the top so you can go directly to the my games screen from the forum.

Also, the "you have no new messages" notification should be moved from the Club Forum screen to the same general area.

I know these have already been suggested, but I thought I'd throw 'em back out there.

Especially since some people could care less about the forum...

I just got my ass handed to me in a teams game because my mate couldn't be bothered to check his pm...

of course, he couldn't be bothered to check the Game Chat for a few turns either...

These are good suggestions, grimsleeper. Now, when you have new messages it shows it in bold right there next to the Inbox menu item.

There is definitely something lacking with forum navigation and I plan to bring the left hand menu into the forum when I have more time.

I think just adding a my games button to the top bar would be the simplest solution. putting a frame for the left bar would make the forum ugly IMO

OK so I am a lazy bastich

Im so lazy while I'm browsing the forums, I don't want to have to click 'Home' up top, then only 'MyGames'

Any chance we can get a 'MyGames' button uptop the forums there ??

You could just open the forum in a separate tab or window. That's what I do.

I find myself, while waiting spending time browsing the rest of the site, I usually open new tabs to do this, but sometimes I click out.

A couple of usability suggestions:

1) put a My Games button between home and how to play
2) have some sort of graphic change when your turn is up. ie. invert the colors of the banner or place an icon in high visibility space so that when a user clicks from one message to the next, and game has advanced, then the user is alerted.

- - - side question - I will be installing the greasemonkey script, and the Firefox auto-reload - do either of these put extra demand on the servers?

im not sure how many people may think this is a goood idea but maybe you should have a tab by the home and how to play that says my games so when your on a diffrent page in this site you dont have to press home and than my games

It doesn't matter much to me since I have a bookmark on my toolbar but some others might appreciate a direct link to their My Games screen from the forum. Could make the CC banner a link or just add it to the existing site menu beneath the banner.

would anyone else think it cool to have a link straight to 'my games' from the forum?
It could sit up there next to the 'home' button... or even replace it, and then the cc logo could take me home, daddy!

I think this has been suggested already, but yes i do think it would be better. Dont want to get carpal tunnel from those extra clicks.

It would be convenient to have a "My Games" link at the top with the other 6 quick links so i can quickly navigate back from the forum area.
