I didn't play in the last game, but the claiming what your action did sounds decent. Of course if you are gifted roleblock or doctor or something then it will be hard to tell.

Here is an interesting question, since in the last game the mod made scum easy to find by giving them bad roles it is quite likely he has given them some decent ones like cop for instance. This of course could mean that claiming it is an investigation could cause mafia to give it to themselves at important points of the game. This is just speculation, the purpose of which is to say that if we do go through with an out loud claim then mafia could manipulate things quite easily.

All I see is jak voting him cause he posted right after /. It could very vell mean that he is scum, but it could also mean that he sav the game had started. It's vay to early to be asking for a defense over a veak "case." No need to pressure someone to defend themselves over posting almost right after the mod.

A case is still a case. Sure mine isn't the strongest one, but think about it. The only people who knew exactly when it started would be the mafia. (The mafia probably didn't know non mafia did not get role pm's). So for now, I'm willing to go with spiesr being the one to post first. It may be nothing, but it might also be everything.

How was I defending him? He said it was a "case" I said it wasn't. I took a side in an argument, it is ridiculous to suggest we are scum buddies based off of that as I could easily say the same thing about all the people on the other side of the argument.

Either you believe that he stumbled upon the thread or you believe he posted first because he is mafia and got a role PM. Asking him to "defend himself" is at best futile and at worst scummy.

complicated schemes were each player had to gift to say the player below them on the list (so we could figure out all the gifts).

If mafia did not tamper with the results, we'd have all gifts figured out by D2 (except maybe the gift that was awarded to the dying player(s) ), which would equal a massclaim.
If mafia did tamper, it would likely end up with them getting caught as things would not "add up".

If people decide only to D2 claim the gifts they received, we might be able to have most players know their own role/gift by D3, while everyone else would not know the other's roles (like in a normal game before a massclaim).
