Heck, thanks strike. You gave me the boost I needed to do something serious on this game.

Quick scan of the number of posts says soundman has posted the least. Although generally, activity hasn't been a major problem with regards to someone really submarining.

Hell, thats a better case than anyone else has made. He BW FOS'ed me (for a VERY poor reason), and he tried to kill me (vith a slightly better but VERY poor reason)... that all makes him look pretty bad right now... jonty, change my mind about this. I might have joke-voted vodean and one stage but I definitely haven't voted him seriously.freezie wrote:strike wolf wrote:1. What do you all think of day 1 joke stages?

If you're referring to the number of votes on you at any given point in this game, I hardly think the second or third vote was "attempting to kill you".vodean wrote:Hell, thats a better case than anyone else has made. I don't understand. What I'm asking is where the following quote happened.vodean wrote: actually, its funny. you quoted the post i was taking that idea from. perhaps you are town, but you are the best case we have.

i didnt have a specific example, but im assuming freezie did.jonty125 wrote:I don't understand. so dont ask me, ask freezie. you did vote for me in a semi-serious manner in the joke vote phase.freezie wrote: his attempt at an easy lynch

Funny how Vodean quickly jumped against Jonty when he didn't ever vote vodean for that.
I made a mistake. I meant Jonty jumped on Safari for what I consider a poor reason. Not vodean.
But the later is tipping my scum radar some more..

Re: Golden Pantheon - Norse ~ D1! (12/12)
indeed, vodean has gone so far as to say
PS: to answer strike's questions
1.I like joke vote stages, they are usually entertaining, and occasionally lead to something.
2.I am now comfortable leaving my vote as it is.
3. Do you have any answers to your own questions?

ok, hold on, looking back through the thread. i know SOMEONE voted me in a semi-serious manner in the joke votes. sorry. that was safari.

Re: Golden Pantheon - Norse ~ D1! (12/12)
I do have answers to my questions.
1. I like the joke vote stage mostly. I sometimes feel that people can be too eager to get out of it to get to the real votes disregarding the potential for patterns that can come up even during joke stage.
2. I don't have any revolutionary suspicions to add to the game. I Ginsberg little merit to the safari case. I kind of agree with the month case in that I felt he was a bit erratic during the joke vote stage but a bit over sold.
vodean I think is the most interesting. I originally thought he was just being defensive but now he also has shown that he isn't following the actual comments that well and acting as a follower on cases.

It's also odd how defensive vodean got over rather minor pressure. I thought I had said that it was only a semi serious vote, but vodean got rather defensive for one measly vote. Especially since that vote has long been withdrawn by now.

I also Ginsberg over what you said earlier, but your statement was pretty pointed. If he reacted the way he did, it was only because what you insinuated wasn't entirely kind.safariguy5 wrote:It's also odd how defensive vodean got over rather minor pressure. i didnt vote you did I? I havent really done anything that defensive. when you accused me of early claiming, i justified it. then i left you alone. now im justifying my recent actions. then unless you keep pressuring, ill leave this alone. one post without an OMGUS is hardly jumpy and defensive. i just left it alone.safariguy5 wrote:It's also odd how defensive vodean got over rather minor pressure. Re: Golden Pantheon - Norse ~ D1! (12/12)
Vodean did have a quick trigger on Jonty with the mistaken thought of them being attacked by Jonty due to a misplaced name by freezie which does tip the scumdar a bit but only enough to get a FOS Vodean. Also the quick rescue by Clever warranted part of the FOS but wont go anywhere past that. Not enough to warrant a vote due to the comeback and proper statement of mistaking jonty for Safari.
At this point Soundman I havent seen either so I will follow that pressure to see what they are at.
