See, theoretically primate could have been the vig recruited by mafia and
tonight he would make two kills, making the winner tomorrow.

Is what we have at the minute, with all people in green being people who are cop confirmed, or the cop.

If you actually look at last nights death scene, we actually have two killers still on the loose, a throat-slitter and a crossbower. I guess they could be by the same person, but it wouldn't really make much sense for a person to slit someones throat then shoot them with a crossbow, and it wouldn't make much sense to shoot someone in the back with a crossbow then slit their throat. I'm thinking one kill was the mafias, and the other was done by a pro-town killer.

Both 3 and 2 scum left both seem plausible. I'm presently thinking that we have 3, with 5 mafia total, inc. sk, but the town has been pretty low power so far this game, so I'm unsure either way.

THE PLAN

We know that Syzygy, AK, and Xenhu are innocent. Today, we lynch Coalaane, Selin and Mandalorian, all at once. If the game goes to night, you will know I am the final scum, I kill one of you tonight, and the remaining two people lynch me tomorrow.

After Colaalone's role claim, I'm still lacking the pro-town killer you mentioned. You are the only one who haven't role claimed yet. Are you a vig (or sk)?

The plan accounts for me lying. If I'm lying, I die tomorrow. Either way we do it, I die if I'm scum, so why does it matter that we kill me tomorrow instead of today? The town wins regardless!

So will people please stop denouncing me?

I'm a survivor. If I die, I will lose, and I have just as much of a desire to see the scum die today as you. Voting to kill me today is just out and out spiteful, considering we as good as know that the scum are within the other three, and there is no reason to drag me down with them.

To be honest, I don't genuinely think the mafia cult was a cult in the traditional sense. I mean, that would mean that the mafia got both a nightkill and a recruit every night, in addition to the pro-town power roles, and in a game with a serial killer and a survivor, I find that quite unlikely. There's also the parallel rolewise with the pro-town 'cult' and them both being preist roles. IMHO, the evil priest was something similar, like a pro-mafia recruting masonry, one that doesn't change alignment, though I will admit that that role sounds kind of lame. That's what the post when The1Exile died was about. I thought it might be a pro-mafia real cult, and The1Exile said it wasn't. That said, I guess he probly would have said that regardless of alignment, so meh.

that said, the possibility of there being a mafia recruit is something that we can't simply ignore.

@Coaloane: Now you're just manipulating the facts to what you want to believe. You're just baselessly spouting off things. You criticise me for not what wanting to sacrifice myself, knowing I am a survivor, then in the very next sentence, say the town can afford to lose me, as I am a survivor, two points that show a drastically different mindset, and pretty much just a solid attempt to get me lynched without any actually consideration as to whether I'm scum or not.

The only way the town can lose by my plan is if I am a pro-cult/mafia vigilante. If I am a pro-cult mafia vigilante, then the mafia would ahve already won the game by now, that is, unless you are implying that in an 18-player game, the mafia started with two people, something I find obscenely unlikely.

Since the game has gotten small and everyone is active, I see no point in dragging the day out for no reason. I'd still like to give everyone a chance to denounce; however, unless there are objections, I'll end the day as soon as everyone has denounced. If you don't wish the day to end early, say so, and I'll wait until everyone agrees, or the deadline is reached.

This will be the policy for the rest of the game.

the people who haven't denounced yet need to denounce someone who's going down anyway now, just so they don't die, even if they do eventually decide to denounce someone else. Todays the day we can't really afford to lose anyone else.

Nah, I'm implying that the Mafia started with only the Mafia Cult Recruiter. He
only had time to recruit ONE PERSON (seeing as he burned on day two). And
he may have been JUST lucky enough to recruit the Vig.

Regardless... the town would benefit from you burning. If you are the
survivor, you die. Tough shit, you aren't on the townies side. If you are the
Vig Mafia, then the town's ass is safe. You being alive serves no purpose for
us.

also, at present, we have four people going into night. Say that one of them is a godfather, or they were town before they were recruited, or some shit like that, and in lynching these three people today, we don't win. if the mafia nightkills one at night, then there will be three alive tomorrow. This means the town hasn't lost yet. And assuming that I will be roleblocked the night before, you 100% know that I'm not the scum, so then we actually get another chance at catching the scum who evaded the cop/claimed cop. And under these circumstances, I guarantee the town that I will make an effort to vote for the scum. Doing otherwise is just lazy.

If you lynch me today, and the Godfather makes it to night, then he can just nightkill somene and waltz off with a win.

So, lynching me today is pretty much pointless, and leaving me alive just opens up a contingency plan, one with no downside.. It would have technically been better to leave someone else, but thanks to the fact everyone else is a dead man walking, now I'm the only choice you have.

tell you what else should be a mild concern, that makes my last paragraph more relevant. so far we have three people dead, and so far not one of them has conceded. I would imagine that if one of the three was mafia, they'd just give up, instead of trying to just screw with us.

Oops, my bad. I actually agree with the others about letting you live Primate. Even if you are the Survivor, you're not pro-town and there is the slight chance you could be the vig/mafia. But, like you said I can just roleblock you tonight if the game doesn't end after today's burnings.
That said, I'm done here for the day.

If I'm mafia, there's no way I can win, so not letting me win as a survivor just seems spiteful.

Well XenHu claimed Mayor (which aimless's day scene clearly shows to be a role in this game) and the cop found him pro-town and AK's roleblocking abilities were proven to be true (which basiclly clears him as town) and the cop found him pro-town.

depends, really. It's not a bad play, though I'd prefer to do it with the cop than the mayor.

I guess the best reason against it is it just seems to be putting all our eggs in one basket. I don't really think that any of the three confirmeds are scum, but if they are, this way we don't actually lose anything, and we gain another chance to root out the scum tomorrow.

What you suggest isn't really a bad play, but it's only really relevant, and better than my plan, if you think there's a scum that can kill two people amongst the 3 confirmed townies.
