Yeah that definitely peaked my scumdar too, clever seems to me to be a massive noob so it wouldn't surprise me if he made such a dumb scumtell such as blatant defending of a partner.

it's a weird move especially this early in the game, but your activity is so high that if you keep this up as a mafia, you'd most likely slip somewhere, that doesn't mean you get a free pass though, especially if you survive multiple nights, as overly active people tend to be popular mafia targets. it wouldn't be very smart for mafia to eliminate people who are mostly silent anyway, because silent people don't contribute much in the first place

I was killed night 1 in my first ever game, things haven't changed much since. But on the note it was early in the game, thats when this move should be played as later in the game you should have developed better tells to go off of.

3. Who do you think has been acting suspiciously?

no opinion, hence why i didn't fos or seriously vote anyone. In general in mafia i am not really voting much the first few days as i'm just gathering information and trying to figure out what's going on. And even if i had a suspicion, i'd probably try to collect more evidence first.

4. Who do you think has town told the most?

i don't understand the question

Not committing yourself to any opinions on other players? Nice. No one has much at this point but we are not going to get anything if we simply sit on our hands and wait. Mafia don't want to give any opinion unless it will make them look town, town should always be making opinions to keep people on their toes.

Also town-telling is pretty obviously acting like a member of the town would. Just the opposite of a scum tell.

Right let me set something clear for you guys. There is a difference between bad play and scummy play. People often fail to see the difference and this accounts for why so many noobs get lynched day 1. Normally a player like me or nag or / won't play badly even if we are mafia. Therefore the experienced player will look beyond the simplicity of whether what someone said is positive or negative for the town. The idea behind my play was to act in a way that is not scummy at all but is bad play. I would expect players like nag, upon reading my post, would realize I was not serious because this was bad play, not scummy play.

So you are unable to form opinions of people other than me?

I like him asking the more inactive people these questions. Now they can't say they can't think of anything to contribute. To answer them you have to go back, read up, and form an opinion. Doing this once or twice when activity is slow is fine. Any more and I'd be suspicious of him leading the conversation.

Well, some RL stuff, as the weekend was rough. But really, I have difficulty getting into Day 1. It's like CoD Zombies. You gotta slug through the first few rounds before things get good. In this case, Day 1. I just have a hard time getting into real cases on such little evidence or on such a weak argument.

I really don't know what to think of all these Shenanigans. I don't know what to think of all the people saying "I don't like d1, it's boring and nothing to work with". Well, you have to actually post to get something to work with, as you can't always rely on PR's. The only reason we have cases against pmc, dazza and nagerous is because they were posting. I'm not exactly the perfect candidate of a poster, but that's because i'm still getting my feet wet with forum mafia.

I still have an inkling on clever for how fast he defended VS, but would also like to hear Mr. Crazymilkshake's opinion on all this.
