Q. about deadbeats in a 4v4 game
Hi,
I'm in a game where a noob deadbeat is about to miss his 3rd turn in a row (round 3), what happens to his troops and territories? i think they revert to his teammates, but how? all of them to one teammate, or randomly assigned to his 3 partners?
and what happens to the deployments he was supposed to get, do the deferred deployments from all those missed turns disappear?
thanks

Not the next player, but the team player that is listed top.VampireM wrote:the troops of the deadbeat are given to the next player on his team
In this case (Game 10461003) that is the same, but if for instance green would have deadbeated, then his troops would have gone to red and not to blue.

Is this also the case with triples or only quadruples?

Which is it? The next player on his team or the top player in the list? i.e. Red/Pink for quads. Also, shouldn't this be in the gameplay notes in the instructions section? Would love a quick definitive answer, it's about to happen to us in a CL4 game... Thanks.

taken right from the instructions, so that means that (EDIT: LIKE FORZA SAID) the first surviving teammate (meaning the first in the list, not the next active player) inherits the troops and spoils. When a player is auto-kicked in a team game, the first surviving teammate inherits the troops and spoils.
Re: Q. about deadbeats in a 4v4 game
Ok thanks a million! Couldn't find that anywhere, appreciate it.
Re: Q. about deadbeats in a 4v4 game
I don't think it is the next player in line, but it is the first on the list (so red or pink in quads, if they are still alive that is).SirSebstar wrote:Conchobar wrote:Which is it? When you think about it. I can also not be the next to take a turn, because what would happen in Freestyle then?
I'm sure it is player 1 on the team that gets the cards/regions.
What gamenumber is this about by the way?

Re: Q. about deadbeats in a 4v4 game
I found proof of my previous post:
Game 10611190
Teal deadbeated with 3 regions left and they went to pink (he had 6 regions at the end of his turn and now he has 9). So not the next player with a turn (orange) got the regions.

Re: Q. about deadbeats in a 4v4 game
(edited post Forza had it right from the start)
good call, with freestyle it makes sense. since all players get to start their turn at the same time, its going to the highest player on the list, since that technicly the first player.
recap:teamgames/deadbeats/ who inherits what?
If a player deadbeats, the 3 turns accumulated belayed reinforcements are LOST.
The currenty availiable spoils troops and territs are ALL inherrited by the surviving player on the team. in freestyle AND sequential triples and quads this is always the top of the list, surviving player on the team.

Re: Q. about deadbeats in a 4v4 game
You haven't read my previous post I see. Spoils and regions always (also in Sequential) go the the player listed top of the team that is still alive, not the player that has the first turn after the deadbeat occurs.SirSebstar wrote:good call, with freestyle it makes sense. since all players get to start their turn at the same time, its going to the highest player on the list, since that technicly the first player. However that was not the question by the OP.
