After a hard fight in the finals sarphinius wins over anonymus with 60 points to 55 (closest margin possible with this point-system) a very well-deserved win although it stings admitting it

Background Im a fan of 1v1 tournaments, and i am also a fan of semi-complex maps like supermaxx prisonrape, I am not however a fan of how big an advantage it is to get first turn in a 1v1 game on for example prisonrape.
Tournament So here is my first go at trying to level the playing-field a bit due to a applied points-system and a fair amount of games played.
The tournament will consist of 16 players and it will be a single knockout tournament.
In each round two players face each other in a best of 5 series (random.org will decide the seeding) and here comes the smart part (at least if I am to believe myself, and i constantly do) if you get FRIST TURN and win you will be awarded 15 points, if you get SECOND TURN and still win you will get 25 points So if by some fluke player 1 gets to start all games but if player 2 is a real champ and manages to turn 2 of them he would still be declared the winner of this match-up
It is my hope that this will solve the uneven advantage starting player gets in these games (end of tournament we will see if i have balanced the points correctly).
Rules 16 players (1800+ to join) 1v1 single elimination (best of 5 series) Auto Sequential Chained Foggy Escalating
Starting-turn win awards 15 points, Second-turn win awards 25 points, most points end of series advances, points do not carry on to next round.
Final round will be best of 7 with same pointstructure

Seeds will be randomly generated by random.org

LOL my first round games Had 1st turn in 1 and going to win easily.... went second in the other 4 and am losing by miles.... theory is the same on 'prisonrape' go first u win.

Yep, all 5 of our match ups went to the player with the first turn.
Well, it didn't help that I missed three turns. =) Still, in our games, it looks like the first player to go wins. I went first in one game, and it looks like I'll be 1-4. =)
