I am not buying cat's claim...seems too unpredictable to me (even for the twisted mind of dazza).

As for cod's investigation...we should not provide direction...sets up too many risks that it can be messed with.

Let me get this straight. You are forced to act and last night you targeted edoc who died? So you either blocked, investigated, vigged or protected edoc. So you either blocked or vigged him and you chose him based on his behaviour on D1.

What makes me iffy is that when you choose whom to target tonight, you might choose cod given that you don't entirely trust him, right? You might accidentally vig the cop then :shock

I also might have investigated him, but the mod did not send me a report, because he was dead. I don't know. I suspect I roleblocked him, because he did not act, and the night scene flavor goes on about him being aware something was wrong.

If Town does not want me to target codierose tonight, I won't target him tonight.

Of course, that is exactly the problem. However, before Town lynches me, please consider all aspects of this; I realize Town has no way of knowing for sure that I am Town until I flip Town, but I am Town and would like to help Town win if I can. Here are two ways that I think I can be of help to town; perhaps there are other ways that more experienced players can come up with, also?

(1) We must have a real doc here - not just my 25% random doc ability... Perhaps the real doc can protect codierose, and I can target codierose? That way codierose definitely does not die during the night, and I have a 25% chance of discovering if codierose is Town or not. Although if I am killed during the night, I can't report my investigation results. The real doc would protect the claimed cop, though, right? So this is one way to keep a Town player (me) alive and at least able to keep Town numbers up. if mafia kills me during the night, at least it spares another Town player from being killed.

(2) We can develop a list for me to select from for my night action. Perhaps if someone's name is on my short list, they will say something that will help Town. I will not contribute in any way to such a list, so that there isn't any way I influence the choices. Purely up to Town, and by having me pick from the choices on the list, mafia won't know exactly what I will do.

Just lynching me, eh, seems like a waste of a potential resource, that, if used properly, could benefit Town.

I'm not sure, and as has been said I think it's something you should choose and not make public in case there IS a framer out there or mafia role blocker etc.

Weelll.....I'm up for getting Cat to prove her power. The whole % stuff she was talking about made me a bit suspicious too though. I haven't come across JOAT's abilities b4 that has such and such a chance of success. This could be a tactic for mafia to hide behind in case it "didn't work". Having said that we could give her a chance to prove herself. If that is the consensus I will remove my vote, but to be honest I'm still not sure if I believe her claim.

I just dont like how you act like you should be above suspicion. Why would you tell him not to?

Because if Cat actually is town, then his investigation was crap. Plus, I'm an easy target for a lynch the next day, so the investigation won't matter, will it? Somewhere, we need to find people we can trust, that won't be killed. I'm the easy target for the investigation and if there is a framer out there, guess who he's framing? So, don't waste the investigation on me...pick someone else at random...or he should use his own theories. I'm too obvious.

At the top of this page on the right is a button called advanced search options. Click on it and put in Dazza's 1st in the first search bar and the name of the player you want to see all contributions from. Very handy when trying to confirm your suspicions. Am at work now but will be checking back in later today and catch up with latest developments.
