Really? We're still in the joke voting stage?Djfireside wrote:Yeah I would tend to agree on the OMGUS statement. Granted its the joke vote round but doesnt change that fact.

I think we've got a replacement. We just need out Mod to wake up from his illness and realise it

I'm hoping, perhaps, Tenbar can offer a fresh view and perhaps pick up on things we may have missed.

Re: Dazza's 1st Mafia (13/13) Day 1
Ok, i have done my reading.
Glad to be here!
My assessment of the action so far...a lot of meaningless votes cast.
Those of you who know me from clan games know that i wont vote without reason, and i havent seen a reason yet.
That said, i am completely against a no lynch on D1.
We need to do some pressure voting to get a claim out of someone to give us something to react to and at least see who lines up on which side.
If we have no scumminess to cast that vote by then i say we go for the quietest player.
No lynches, just pressure to get one or two claims out...

I agree that we need to move along here, but I'm at a loss as to how best to do that...

not sure do you start with the least active
Re: Dazza's 1st Mafia (13/13) Day 1
The games I've been in, we've tried starting with the least active, but more often than not that has gone haywire. We could spice it up and say the least contributing player (or, naturally, the one coming off the scummiest)?
Whatever we do, we need a consensus to go by. It is never good for the town to go in all different directions. I'll have to reread the thread in order to see whom I think is the right player to pressure.
Must eat first though

The problem with going after an inactive is that pretty much everyone in this game are active...

could always get dazz to prod everyone whom ever dont respond we go for them first just an idea
Re: Dazza's 1st Mafia (13/13) Day 1
So we need to decide who has been looking the most scummy. I don't see anyone standing out. There has been some back and forth with wildwilliam, but I hardly think it qualifies as "scummy" behaviour.
My last suggestion, unless anyone presents a case that I'm to dumb to realise on my own, we should mayhaps contact random.org?

Little can be gained form that RL. The pick has to be conscious otherwise it is meaningless.Ragian wrote:So we need to decide who has been looking the most scummy. I don't see anyone standing out. WildWilliam always looks scummy but in my history of games with him, its cause he was. Granted that may be his style but sometimes if the shoe fits.Ragian wrote:So we need to decide who has been looking the most scummy. I don't see anyone standing out. I am in no way defending WW because I beleive he has a very bad habbit of using crap logic, evasion and insults when he cant defend his point of view. BUT he was town in South Park playing the fool. I really thought he was scum in Magic the Gathering.Djfireside wrote:WildWilliam always looks scummy but in my history of games with him, its cause he was. He did everything I listed and low and behold he was Town.
What qualifies as scummy behavior? I have yet to see in any of my games played, someone lynched day one who exhibeted "scummy" behavior actually turning out to be scum.
Re: Dazza's 1st Mafia (13/13) Day 1
I dont k ow WW's behaviour from past games, can anyone shed more light on that?

Okay, I'm grasping at straws here, trying to figure out how we keep this game interesting and moving along. So, after reading through everything, this post was one of the few interesting ones...
Weak, I know, but someone has to post something provactive. But perhaps Ragain and Tenbar are friends on this site? Perhaps they are also mafia together in this game now...
Was Ragian being a helpful person, or is he mafia and Raston was being replaced, so he wanted a buddy of his to be his mafia freind?Ragian wrote:Do you want suggestions?dazza2008 wrote:I need a replacelment for Raston_Morue. He has asked to be replaced.

Weak and unlikely, but also more importantly of little consequence. Even if they knew each other it would be a minor minor tactical advantage.Nebuchadnezer wrote:Okay, I'm grasping at straws here, trying to figure out how we keep this game interesting and moving along. Look at anytime VS is lynched d1. He is invariably the GF.Iron Butterfly wrote:I am in no way defending WW because I beleive he has a very bad habbit of using crap logic, evasion and insults when he cant defend his point of view.
