Gabby Giffords is stepping down to focus more on the recovery from wounds she suffered at the assassination attempt ordered by Sarah Palin.
As you all recall, of course, the Tea Party did succeed in killing a 9 year old girl in that attack, as well as other people, and delivered a debilitating injury to Ms. Giffords.
It's a sad day for America. When will all of this Tea Party violence end?

It's even sadder, because 239 years ago the Tea Party's violence was at least aimed at people outside of its own country.
