Re: College Football FBS 2011 [Bowls/Playoffs]
Enjoyed the tourney, thanks for putting it on. I do have a suggestion going forward though. The map/ map settings combination for the Meineke Bowl was pretty awful. Having unlimited reinforce on a map that big in a head to head game does not make sense. All it does is ensure that whichever team goes first wins the game which is exactly what happened in all four games. None of which were remotely close at all. Would like to see map settings that encourage a competitive game, rather than leaving the outcome up to whichever player goes first. Thanks.
Re: College Football FBS 2011 [Bowls/Playoffs]
It was fun but very disappointing to finish #15 and miss the playoffs, maybe next year.

Cwinslow, I went with the higher-ranked team's settings for the bowl games, but maybe I should institute a rule that all neutral-site games use chained. Thanks for your input.

1. Great tourney! Lots of fun
2. I wish I was in the BCS tourney
3. I just have to mention that I had the WORST possible set up ever for the Gator Bowl: My opponent, the tough #13 ranked Mizzou, not only started first on ALL FOUR games, but got a bonus on his drop on THREE of the four. How do you even have a chance against that? There's gotta be a way for CC to make the starts for fair for tourneys like this.
anyway, I'm toughing it out. Great job AR, looking forward to next year. Will we have a chance to keep the same teams?

Yes, I was originally going to offer teams with 4 wins a chance to remain with their teams, but that would put me way over the 50% maximum private invitation rule, so I'm probably going to offer it to bowl-eligible teams.

Two more teams are through to the quarterfinals: #3 Iowa State defeated 14-seed West Virginia 40-26, and #2 Michigan State held on to beat 15-seed Florida State by a field goal, 24-21.

I think it would be kind of strange to go the whole season with that map and then change it for the playoffs. I'll leave it the same.Pixar wrote:anyway i can switch my map for this playoff feudal war is barely reaching round limit

Colo St is in the process of running out the clock in an intense tight low scoring game

The Washington State Cougars danced to the beat of their own drum and routed the Southern Miss squad
in the Music City Bowl 49-20.

Boise State wins big in the Military Bowl...takes a parade through downtown only to be pulled over by the police for holding up traffic.
Coach: "But officer, this is our victory parade?"
Officer: "Oh yeah? What did you win exactly?"
Coach: "We just beat Pitt in the Military Bowl."
Officer: "The what? C'mon sir, into the back."

#10 Colorado State earns revenge against #7 Wyoming with a 20-15 victory in the playoffs. CSU next travels to #2 Michigan State.
Only one first-round game remains, and #1 Brigham Young looks to have the game in hand against 16-seed Mississippi State.

We send you now live to the Pinstripe Bowl where UAB and Clemson are tied 30-30.
Game 10446702
The break left both teams rusty and the earlier quarters where plagued with some crucial early mistakes, but both teams seem to have found their rhythm by the start of OT.
