10 secs added for each territory taken in speed games as an option, that reset to game settings at the end of turn.
That way you still get quick turns, but on larger maps you still have time to do want you want.

I dont mean to be mean here, but this idea would make speed games take a VERY long time. Think about big speed freestyle games for a second. Every player in a big escalating spoils game wants a card. Each player (say, 8 ) takes even 1 territory, that's an added minute and 20 seconds. Then everyone waits longer. In sequential games, it could affect players about to win games. Sore losers could just hit ones and prolong the game.nomdeguerre wrote:10 secs added for each territory taken in speed games as an option, that reset to game settings at the end of turn.

I could maybe be in favor of this if it was 1 or 2 seconds. Definitely not 10.
If you have trouble finishing turns, playing slower games, like 5 minute turns.

i think 5 minutes are plenty even in big maps. f this suggestion be added, then only add it for 5 minute games and not the shorter ones.

Don't mean to be mean here, but what do you think "that reset to game settings at the end of turn" meant...NoSurvivors wrote:I dont mean to be mean here, but this idea would make speed games take a VERY long time.
