He will be replaced unless he makes a good post before he is replaced.

He has expressed interest in the game, but in that same day he posted a pretty good post in every other mafia game but this one. I am not waiting forever. No offense to shield, I really do like him, but I know when games decline they disappear and I will not let that happen! ;)

let's just lynch him, he's probably not of any use if he can't even post.

Thats stupid.

You have a mod actively seeking a replacement and you just want to lynch him.
Weve waited enough time, whats the harm in waiting longer?

Lynching him at this moment gives us pretty much nothing. Of course, if he flips scum, im up a shit creek since apparently Im crazy for not wanting to lynch him at the current moment.

he asked not to be replaced yet he refuses to post, that's just stupid and lynchworthy to me.

If we lynch him now, what do we gain? (Besides him being gone.;)) It would be better if he was either replaced, or he came back we had some discussion and then he got lynched.

We gain one less idiot in the game how doesn't feel that it is worth his time to post here. Unvote vote Shield I would find a replacement acceptable, but I intend to force the game one way or another.

============

If this was later in the game, I'd probably go after a lynch (like I've done in previous games) since it seems like a decent play. But since this is still Day 1, its hard to say it is a terrific play.

However, we can also make the argument that the other recent replacement (Leehar) has done diddly squat so far, and a replacement for sg7 might similarly prove to be same.

So, I'm a little all over the place. Lets see if we can investigate voting so far, and maybe we can figure out what we see. I think these players have voted on SG7 at some point (and a few multiple times) Spiesr, Dazza, BGthebrain, Soundman, Zimmah, Hippo.

Looking back, Soundman, Hippo jumped on Spiesr, when he mentioned something about stopping the non-real threat to speedlynching myself when I got to 4 votes (they seemed like mostly joke voting).

Soundman has also randomly jumped on a non-real threat to lynching Gilligan, and then immediately voted Dazza. He then did jump pretty fast onto the SG7 bandwagon after Dazza and BGthebrain voted up SG7 for inactivity. Hippo eventually jumps in and puts SG7 1 away from lynch, at which point Soundman questions why SG7 is put there. Eventually SG7 falls off a little, but then gets put back up to 1 away from lynch by Hippo and Soundman asks about backing off again because of someone being 'impatient.'

Hippo seems to be throwing around a lot of votes (and critical ones) as is Soundman, though they seem to play off one another a little.

==========

Just some random thoughts.

Ok
Hippo votes Shield to put him at L-1
He gets called out and then unvotes waiting for a replacement

Replacement doesnt come, shield doesnt talk any more.

he then revotes AND gives VS grief over VS asking for a "Day" but then never revoting

Then he unvotes again asking for replacement.

I call him out and he responds with a blatant OMGUS on me after I vote him.

Now he is back to pressuring SG even though the mod says he is trying to find a replacement.

I had a nice post with quotes and crap, but closed the wrong tab when I went to post it.

Fastposted: And now SG is back.

I see this as the best case currently available besides cutting out the useless players. that being said the case is real weak, I am not certain it is really worth a wagon.

Wow, Day 1 and I have yet to draw suspicion to myself. It's a good day.

I think hippo is acting a little jumpy - can't make up his mind, jumping on and off vote wagons. He's a bit all over the place. Not sure what to make of it as of yet.

All my votes up to SG7 were joke votes. I voted SG7 to add pressure to get him posting but I don't want to lynch him without at least a claim in case he's an important power role.

Ok SG7 is back and reading up so there is no reason to be lynching him. NONE. He has said he is reading up and he is here. We can not lynch him on the grounds that he is inactive. If then starts to submarine...we can cover that when its an issue. For now..for day one I think SG7 being a no show is now a moot issue.

If the trend continues then I think we can seriously reconsider it at a later date.

The counter to that is, look at what Shield has done so far. He comes coming in and indicating he doesn't want to be replaced. He says he is rereading, but apparently he can manged more than a few pages in one sitting? If this is all he can offer, he is going to simply be dead weight the rest of the game.

What an interesting day. I wonder if the lynch will be interesting. I wonder if it will be an interesting no lynch. I wonder if we'll lynch and interesting mafia. I really hope we have an interesting lynch of an interesting mafia. I was going to confirm but I found this post to be more interesting and interestingly enough much more appropriate for an interesting day. So are we still in an interesting joke vote phase or have we settled in on an interesting case? I'll be interestingly reading up.
