I just wanted to say, since some people seem to be thinking otherwise, that "voices from the grave" don't reveal any info relevant to the game and are just for fun. I think it's this way in all mafia games.

So... in mafia games, it's common to accuse people who are really quiet of being scum, right?

WHAASSSAMATTER GUYS!?!? YA'LL GOT SOoOoOoOoO QUIET WHEN THE MOD CAME IN AND SAID THE ONE PIECE OF EVIDENCE YOU WERE RALLYING BEHIND WAS BOGUS? WHERE'D ALL YER NEWFOUND CONFIDENCE GO? TEEGEE? HIPPO? YA'LL WERE PIPING IN LEFT AND RIGHT EARLIER, EH!?

I am confident that with the posts we already have, the mafia can be effectively deduced. My early predictions are TeeGee, Hippo, Rodion for mafia. We shall see after this speed lynch. I am not the only confirmed townie(I'm not going to continue to explain that I am semi-confirmed every time I say this, so this is the last time I mention bussing as a possibility.), so doc on me tonight would be nice. Let's work on having a pro doc here.

And to whomever called me a newb earlier (I think it was hippo), kindly STFU. Or hit me up on EpicMafia to see what kind of a player I am. ;)

Also, I'm very upset Max isn't on our side. It is always an advantage to have wonderfully pro-town townies.

i have no idea what you're talking about by being confirmed, what makes you think you are confirmed at all?

Well, we could just stick with he fact that I got the godfather lynched. I think that is all for now.

This post looks really off (and not only because I'm somewhat being suspected with no reason at all).

1 - What is your definition of a "speedlynch"?

2 - What makes you think TeeGee, Hippo and I are mafia?

3 - How many mafia do you think a 14-player game has?

I'll probably have more questions once you answer these ones.

Fastposted by Maximum. Still need to read his post.

1 - Speed lynch? A quick lynch. On a 3 way LYLO when the last death is one of two cop cc's. That is one example of a speed lynch.

2 - I don't have serious concrete evidence, I didn't vote you, I just made a prediction based on gut, don't get your panties in a wad.

3 - Depends on the game. Could have 3 or could have 4. Could have a mastermind, could have a 3rd party. I have no idea. There are too many unknowns.

if i recall correctly we're in a mafia game, a majority of the players needs to vote for a lynch, in order to get a lynch to work. would that automaticly 'clear' everyone who voted?

your logic is horribly flawed.

If you are dead, you should not be posting anything that could possibly be construed as information regarding the game. Even if what you are saying is false, it could lead to complications otherwise.

How about you read the rules?

10. Once your death scene has been posted, it's over for you. You can no longer post anything related to the game. Whining is alright, **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me. Though I think isaiah's second post was a little over the top and as such sent him a PM saying so and put a post on here within two hours.

Bottom line, it only takes 7 to lynch. We were at L-2 on Maximum because of Isaiah "dead posting". I feel that as mod, you should have stepped in before you did. He honestly could have been lynched at any point. All that is neither here nor there. The real issue was that we didn't know if his role allowed him to guide the town after death, which is not entirely your fault. Most blame for this lies on Isaiah.

I'm going to reread tomorrow, until then, I will go back to my earlier position. UNVOTE VOTE TEEGEE. I think it is also funny that hippo hasn't unvoted Max, but instead wants to lynch him. I think my earlier mafia predictions could be spot on.

I'm going to respond to you directly, Hippo, and then I'm going to pipe down here for at least the rest of the day - as I'm learning very quickly that saying too much paints a big fat target on ones back as fast as saying too little.

I think it's very interesting that you're voting to lynch me because I voted to lynch TeeGee during day one, and implying that I was out to get him to begin with. The reason for this is that I voted to lynch a lot of people during day one - though you seem to have left a few details out. The primary detail you left out is that I voted to lynch you the moment the game started. If you're going to make a case that I've been out to get anyone from the start, you're making a weak case by leaving out the identity of the person I actually voted to lynch from the start. There are really only a few reasons one would leave out such details. These reasons are similar to the reasons someone would have to loosely quote joke votes and misattribute banter for the sake of vilifying an opponent.

So with that - as I said - I'm going to pipe down for the time being, with the exception of if questions worth answering are specifically directed at me. And I also ask, town, please send the doctor or bodyguard my way at night. As I said, I've painted a pretty big target on my back in the process of speaking loudly and now directly accusing two members of being scum. I can see every reason why certain individuals would benefit from me being in the grave after today.

Frankly General, I see nothing wrong with how I have conducted this game so far. If you had read the rules then there would have been no problem. Please make sure you do so in the future as they change from mod to mod and game to game. Now, can we all please get back to the game? Thank you. :)

First of all, dead people aren't allowed to talk to influence the game. I don't think you can listen to isaiah.

Second, if you were to listen to isaiah, I'm pretty sure that 2112 wouldn't be the imposter he is talking about. It would seem to me like maximum would be the imposter so far. He basically did nothing on Day 1 and then he wrote a gigantic post just to FOS TeeGee for being semi-defended by Sully. If you also remember, Sully said he didn't even remember that he was the Godfather until he decided he should claim. So, if he didn't know his role, it's a good assumption that he didn't know his scum mates either.

I also still don't see any real reason to go after TeeGee. He was inactive for a little bit, but I don't think VS was trying to protect TeeGee.

I think it is very likely that TheGeneral2112 is town, but just because he led the lynch on the Godfather, does not make it so. However, I would give him a little more slack than others.

maximum, I don't know what you're talking about me being scummy. What exactly have I done? You have mentioned it in a couple of posts, but no one else has said anything and all you give is general accusation and nothing specific.

I have read through the log again and I think I have it all wrong.

I accept what you are saying max, I think that I didn't really understand your lengthy text. All I can do is apologise.

What has caused me to change my mind is your suggestion I had missed the very early posts so I have gone back to have another look. I saw that VS went for isaiah early on. He was joined by chapcrap. Chapcrap then went for max. Chapcrap then went for TeeGee, although there was no reasoning so almost straight away Chapcrap and raised the TeeGee edit thing. After that drew heat on TeeGee, BOTH VS and Chapcrap defended TeeGee. IMHO I believe that Chapcrap got sucked in by VS, as I confess so did I at first. But Isaiah pointed out that TeeGee was still neither being helpful nor adding anything useful. I certainly agree that this text must be TeeGee's doom as it came so soon after Isaiah's challenge, on Sat Dec 03, 2011 4:32 pm ...

I'm a townie?? What's a townie?? and am I one?
Maybe I am, maybe I'm not?

But the question I want to know is, what does sully actually know? Who told him?

have I said too much? or not enough?

But the most telling thing is this, the actual lynch ...

Victor Sullivan - General, isaiah, Zimmah, Chapcrap, maximumbandit, Mob, thehippo, Rodion - (Lynch)

Here we have Isaiah, Chapcrap, max, Rodion and me ... all of whom have been attacked by TeeGee at one point or another. And who is notably absent? Yes, TeeGee.

So, as bedazzling as TeeGee was (as VS was), I believe I got it wrong. So, on that note ...

unvote vote TeeGee

ok, without trying to give my role away, because now i am more confused than ever (and I thought i read up on this game b4 it started)..

Is there a standard number of mafia vs townies?

Would any player know another players role?

Is this info available somewhere that I have missed?

Hmm I do not recall ever attacking Isaiah or Rodion ever......... ever....... hmmm

No you are right on that, I am obviously tired! Getting late here. It was General that did that on Sun Dec 11, 2011 8:49 am ...

[quote="TheGeneral2112"]At this point, I think we have a lot to examine as far as early faction lines, BUT the voice from the grave is very clear and cannot be interpreted in more than one way. With that being said... (Not sure if I already did this or not)

UNVOTE VOTE MAXIMUM

I am confident that with the posts we already have, the mafia can be effectively deduced. My early predictions are TeeGee, Hippo, Rodion for mafia. We shall see after this speed lynch. I am not the only confirmed townie(I'm not going to continue to explain that I am semi-confirmed every time I say this, so this is the last time I mention bussing as a possibility.), so doc on me tonight would be nice. Let's work on having a pro doc here.[quote]

I retract that unreservedly (and FOS General in the process). But you still need to explain your way out of the rest of what I said. Do that and I'll vote for myself!!

MY Comment- "I'm a townie?? What's a townie?? and am I one?
Maybe I am, maybe I'm not?

But the question I want to know is, what does sully actually know? Who told him?

have I said too much? or not enough?"

Total unreserved noobness.. and with sully's experience he worked on exploiting that. I am convinced he sacrificed himself now, (that is assuming the mafia know each other) knowing he would take a townie or 3 down with him.
I made another critical error, but that won't come to light until later in the game.. again down to my not fully understanding how this game works.

All I can say is the town needs me.. but in saying that, if I make it through the day.. will I last the night
