Is CC the BEST out there?

There has been a "friendly" tournament proposed between Major Command, Landgrab and Conquer Club (and possibly other sites) ...but it seems that there has been very little response for this from CC. Considering ,the amount of pride and muscle flexing here at CC, it seems that this opportunity is being overlooked, as very little interest has been expressed...maybe its been in the wrong forum to catch ppl's attention?

not at all... all the maps here are created by members, and wholly original. those sites have literally stolen maps from this site without payment or acknowledgement and claimed them as theirs. why would CC be involved in a tournament with 2 other sites that are nowhere near the caliber of CC? it would be acknowledging them as somewhat "equal" and/or "relevant"... and guess what? neither are. i appreciate your starting this thread to spam up the forums, because nobody here would bother to look at either of those garbage sites, but you can go now. i am one of CC's biggest critics, and realize how superior CC is to both of those sites. perhaps if they both keep stealing from CC they will eventually be able to be in the same conversation as CC, but as of now neither is relevant... bye!!-el Jesus negro

Why get into a tournament? For the fun of it? Maybe if you think of it as an exhibition game...even the best soccer teams from Europe come to play against MLS teams. This does not, by any stretch of the imagination, mean that L.A. Galaxy are anywhere close to the caliber of Man U or Barcelona or Juventus...

there are 196 maps... many of them have unique game play created by members that hasbro does not feature. the maps are originals, you are sighting the ONE map that is based off of a certain board game... again, why would CC be involved with this, it is an attempt by the other 2 to garner publicity and be in the same conversation as CC... and besides, how could lack charge members of other sites to play in this tournament (HA!!!!)...-el Jesus negro

Nope.

CC maps are totally original, made by CC members. We don't allow stolen material to be used here, we make sure each map that goes through the process uses 100% original material made by the mapmaker.

Landgrab, on the other hand, has stolen actual map images that are made by CC members and used them as their "own".

There is nothing to prove, not even in a friendly competition. After all, landgrab & major command are not even worth of mention in the same sentence. CC dominates in all aspects. Right?

I don't think that there is anyone in the world that would not agree that the U.S. is the best in the world in basketball...hands down! No one can even come close. And look what happened when the U.S. brought its best to the Olympics. They kicked everyone's a$$! Well, except for 2004 when they took bronze Maybe they should not have used the pros & just claimed that whatever happens in the olympics, they are still the best & that claim is enough for them....cause that's all that counts! Besides, the other nations used (stole) strategy developed in the U.S & even hired U.S. coaches! Maybe they STILL should have got the gold in 2004 using this criteria. But no, that would not be good enough...they came back & proved that they were the best...again & again...

But here, meh, why bother....CC is best and as long as we believe it, who cares....

Quite honestly, I couldn't give a rat's a$$, I saw this tournament invite & thought it was a cool idea, posted it where I thought it would get more response & instead had everyone jump all over me. Sure as hell I wouldn't be playing in it but would have enjoyed watching it. Didn't expect such hate. I'll go back to playing my 4 games....just as I have for the last 2 tears...
