Re: Stool Pigeon Mafia - Day 1 Begins! 2 Replacements Needed
just to clarify, with players actions i mean behavior in the forums. like what they say, and how often they post, and who/when they vote. that kind of things. basicly that's about all the information we will get besides some people who are more enlightened, but are not allowed to tell it.
the problem is pigeon also need to try to 'blend in' with the townies, but scum obviously will try to blend in as well. so even if you catch someone who's acting a little strange, it might very well be pigeon. i think we should not jump to conclusions too early for this reason.

I agree ... That's why I voted for Sully. The Jens thing that I keep bleating on about was just an alternative to try and reinvigorate discussion. So, come on town ... let's get cracking!wildwilliam wrote:victor still has not returned to say anything. my vote stands.

I am going to set a two week deadline.
I will send prods, and I still have my replacement sign up.
If there are not enough votes by the deadline, there will be no lynch.
Deadline: November 16

I dislike the way Hippo tends to attack anyone that gives him FOS and attempt to throw it back on them rather than just discussing. Huge FOS Hippo.
But Yeah, I would really like to get this moving a bit faster. I'm used to playing in live chat. This is taking ages.
I've never voted on anyone for inactivity (as I said I'm used to live chat), but this is a bit ridiculous. Either play or die. (damn that was dramatic!
)
VOTE SULLY
(PS: before anyone asks why Sully and not Jens... because I am still hopeful for a replacement. I would rather play with the full group if we can. As Sully has confirmed and just isn't playing and Jens hasn't, I am going with Sully.)

Oh, and before you ask ... I am vanilla townie!

Re: Stool Pigeon Mafia - Day 1 Begins! 2 Replacements Needed
I'm not one to worry about the words used when playing mafia. I tend to work with how things are said rather than what is said. Behavior more than content. People asked me why I voted, my quoting was to show where my reasoning comes from.thehippo8 wrote:Dream much? Not on your nelly! Nothing I have said or suggsted is scummy at all ... and your selective quoting is very impressive! But way off mark. Sigh ... to talk and get stabbed or to not and get stabbed ... funny game this!
So instead of glossing over my reply and ignoring it, answer some questions.
Why the early RC when there was no need ?
Why the push to lynch an inactive then coming out saying it was just to 'reinvigorate discussion' ?
How did you get the other two (Jens, Sully) into your sights, when they have yet to say much/anything, I mean what is the scummiest thing Jens has done ?
Re: Stool Pigeon Mafia - Day 1 Begins! 2 Replacements Needed
Ok ... good questions.
The early RC was when I ws trying to get to the bottom of where Zimmah was coming from. Things got heated there for a moment and I really couldn't understand why. So Zimmah gave his facetious answer and convinced me to back off. In the hurly-burly it seemed unfair to force Zimmah to claim and not claim myself. Incidentally, I was asked to claim also.
Check the log, I'm not the only one that thinks lynching inactives is a good idea (in fact I first thought of it after reading a post by vio in a mod link - which vio later confirmed - check the log). But given four or more days went by I was being cheeky by going back to check on the consensus regarding the resolve to lynch Sully over Jens. Like I said then, it really doesn't matter which inactive we remove, the more removed the more the mathematical puzzle will make sense.
I can't say why Jens and Sully were in my sights, particulalry, they are inactive and seemed appropriate. I preferred Jens initially because Jens was least involved but was diswayed by everyone else when they weren't into removing Jens. Ask them their reasons but as a vanilla townie I prefer to go with the general consensus. The Jens issue is gone for round one.
So, rather than drag this on ... what ideas do you have. If you have it in for me then that seems rather scummy in itself. But frankly I think you are just having a bit of fun at my expense .. and I am proud of you for it! After all, what would this game be if it wasn't for these types of discussions!

lol... Sully has now become more active in at least one other area of the site... I have seen some posts from him fro example one in the Announcements (Halloween events) and he's posted in the mafia games for the volunteers... so I expected to see something here... either he has forgotten again or is deliberately submarining... either way maybe a prob of some sort is in order so Vote Sully

Hes also updated his own Mafia Sevens game, and has had very good post quality in Actors Mafia. I was expecting him to float over here too
Re: Stool Pigeon Mafia - Day 1 Begins! 2 Replacements Needed
Vote Sully , it seems he either have forgotten this game, since hi is active in other games or deliberately avoiding post here, and Hippo as you can see on page 14 i actually unvoted quite some time ago, its just mod that missed it. NOT O.K. mods
Re: Stool Pigeon Mafia - Day 1 Begins! 2 Replacements Needed
And FOS HIppo for being extremely defensive and FOSing everyone thats votingf on him
Re: Stool Pigeon Mafia - Day 1 Begins! 2 Replacements Needed
No reason to scold the mods if they miss something. It happens. Just point it out, so they can fix it. Maybe even unvote again.Eldario wrote:Vote Sully , it seems he either have forgotten this game, since hi is active in other games or deliberately avoiding post here, and Hippo as you can see on page 14 i actually unvoted quite some time ago, its just mod that missed it. Also, you need to bold the person you are voting too, typically.

Ay, ay, ay, it's not so easy to get caught up on tens of pages of text, eh? I'm a Vanilla Townie, so I suppose it's not as big a deal if I am lynched, as I'm only on page 11 trying to get caught up. Vote Count
hippo(3)- chap, shield, terrafutan
zimmah(3)- pancake, conozo, edoc
Sully (8)- hippo, zimmah, Mob, dazza, wildwilliam, Fox, trini, eldario
With 21 alive, it takes 11 to lynch.
Deadline on November 16th (approximately 2 weeks from now).
Lastly, this is an online mafia game, chill out. Whether or not we missed an unvote, you unvoted but didn't bold it, or you thought you unvoted but really didn't, mistakes will happen. Just unvote in your next post and revote. If you really want to be sure your vote will count, unvote before you change every vote in the same post. So something like this unvote vote player.

First of all, it isn't an easy job to keep track of all the votes, especially Day 1. Second of all, a vote should include the person you're voting for, so Vote player. I'll count it this time, but consider it a reminder.Eldario wrote:Vote Sully , it seems he either have forgotten this game, since hi is active in other games or deliberately avoiding post here, and Hippo as you can see on page 14 i actually unvoted quite some time ago, its just mod that missed it.
