Is there a way to view or know how cloe I am to achieving a particular medal? For example, If I am trying to get a gold medal requiring 400 games of a particualr type, and I last received a silver at 200, can I know if I now sit at 275 or at 375? This would be helpful for a player trying to meet requirements like differnet maps or different opponents.

Check out that thread. It's about the same question. The best way is to download Map Rank. You need Firefox and GreaseMonkey as well. It works very well though.

I've tried to find that thread again for a long time now. CC should definitely improve it's search functions. I typed in "GL map rank" and clicked search, 947 matches. It's a total mess, I've been on this site for 3 years and can't make use of the search function. How are the newbies going to find anything they're looking for? The search function shouldn't have to be that complicated! And that was even though I remembered the title of the thread.
