Well, who ever we end up playing, we run a tight ship. We would expect the same from our opponents. Hope you guys get this figured out soon.

Um, you posted them yourself. (Check page 5 of this thread. Cricket, Indian Empire, and World 2.1 they didn't wait 12 hrs in any of them). We just happened to win the games that they actually mattered in. While technically it won't affect the outcome of the match, they still broke the rule multiple times.

I respect the fact that you are undertaking a tourney like this, but don't be a dick. You know they broke multiple rules and while you did follow the letter of the law with the 12 hour stuff, all of their home games should have been random and you know it. I understand why you didn't do that (first and foremost a shitload of work for you) and I know jp has been up in your shit, but we have legitimate gripes.

Respect to GG for a well fought match aside of the B.S.

These issues are some of the reasons we never joined tournies like the ccCup in the first place. I expect we will only be doing regular challenges from here out so we can avoid these issues and make the rules clear and enforce them.

GG v AOD - Singles Series 2

Game 9758036 - Murphy16 broke the rule and won - Therefore the game is a draw

Game 9758032 - Mr.CD broke the rule - Murphy16 won anyway

Game 9758028 - No rule break - Murphy16 win

Game 9758032 - No rule break - Mr.CD win

Therefore, the score in this series is 2-1 - 1 point to AOD (as was previously the case).

GG v AOD - Singles Series 1

Game 9758021 - General Brock II win

Game 9758020 - chiefsfan4ever win

Game 9758019 - General Brock II broke the rule and won - therefore the game is a draw

Game 9758018 - chiefsfan4ever win

Therefore, the score in this series is 2-1 - 1 point to AOD (previously no point for either clan).

This affects the overall score, giving AOD 1 point more and therfore rendering the final score a tie.

With the final score being a tie, the tie-breaker determines the winner, which is AOD.

Please check through thoroughly, including other 1 v 1 series (using the CLA FOW definition (posted repeatedly by me in the thread, and not the AOD definition), before this result is confirmed.

You've got to be kidding...let's totally ruin this tourney Agent Smith & Kenny..man DJ must be gettin sick of your pedantic ways..12hr fog rule *******

If I have my way this rule will never be played by me again and I will avoid any such game where this rule is in place.

Why have fog rule, it's stupid and goes against why it was implemented in the first place. Lets just play sunny in all clan wars.

You already said you wouldn't participate in this tourney in the future anyway, so why are you pushing it..do you want a quote on that ?

P.S. I thought I wouldn't have to post again on this thread, thought thought wrong..so maybe this is still not my last post.

I take it you are not like most Clans AgentSmith88

2011-09-16 22:29:49 - AgentSmith88: For future reference though agent, I would wait as long as possible, but hen take your turn, even if this means only waiing 8, 6, or even 4 hours
2011-09-16 22:30:35 - AgentSmith88: most clans will accept an explanation of what you did on your first turn (if needed) if you are unable to wait the full 12 hours

Here's where you and I agree. Fog is the home team's choice so they should have to take the risk. All this fair drop fair view is a poor argument for not playing all sunny. I would have been more than happy not to have the fog rule, however, your clan couldn't manage to fill home games on time, so you would have assumed little to no risk.

You'd be more correct to call us sore winners, we won games where you showed up late, and we won the poker game even though you did have an advantage. DJ made a decision that was not good enough for me, and it forced us to look at other options, mainly ones he pointed out. Given GB2 has had his privileges suspended in the past, and this fiasco, you should find someone else to be your Minister of War.

Just ignoring the rest, but I have to react to this. Before Papaj deadbeated the game was ours, we were deploying more and almost made our first kill. Then Papaj started missing turns, so we could drop 3 troops less. Then after Papaj deadbeated we still managed to kill one of your players. So when you're saying we had an advantage, you're talking nonsense.

In simple math yes, but you are ignoring attacking position. Instead of pink attacking blue, it became red attacking pink, and then pink trying to counter having lost the attacking position. If you have a 10 v 10 stack, I'd rather be the one attacking than trying to counter. That was where the real advantage was. It was quickly 3v3 after the deadbeat.

Oh and if the a CLA member is reading this, it is possible for the 2nd joinee to still not get a snap before the other plays based on the invite system. Put in a opponent must post snap rule.

Finally a legit argument, thankyou JP...Brock did all in his power to get everyone signed up to games on time, I witnessed this..and he is working so hard to teach everyone they way of the clan. He is a very excellent leader and everyone is now aware of the work he puts behind the scenes. This was new to many members as it's not a typical war setup and some were lethargic in joining games not realising the time restraints. Believe me our forums have been alight and this situation will definitely not arise again. But the main issue came about because of a deadbeat in team games, which was out of everyone's hands ( still missing by the way ) which then put the focus on the 12 hr fog rule..which led to the late starts in some games.

The actual war games played were exciting and played with passion..the decision was made in the end after such a close war to play a decider in which we won. So why keep up the pressure on this I don't understand????

It doesn't look good for AOD in my opinion.

So with that and I did enjoy the games played with you and your clan..this issue is mute and we should all move on and enjoy what CC has to offer in the future. I've been around this site over the years and seen many things happen as you have. We learn about these things and this tourney has been a new and exciting thing for New Comers..That's my point New Comers, not seasoned clans. We will take this on the chin and look forward to future games with your clan and others, it's about enjoyment I'm sure you agree.

I never said that and I'm the Minister of War. That is why we have MOW's in the first place as the primary contact. My clan members are allowed to speak their mind and yes, I would not be surprised to see AOD as a War-Only clan going forward. Maybe the 1v1 G1 tournament as it was exceptionally run and was fun. Kenny may sit out going forward if that really is his choice.

What part of this shows my initiating the current issue? The "At Least I Got Chicken" comment is from World of Warcraft, Leeroy Jenkins, google it if you are unfamiliar...It was a joke.

And I said good luck in the next round out of sincerity, because like I said, I didn't initiate this current issue. This came to my attention yesterday...Again, sorry to disappoint you 86, but glad to see you have other emotions besides "happy-go-lucky"...

Wow, so we should just ignore what your clan members post as they have no say. Then as Minister of War you better talk to Agent Smith and tell him not to speak for the clan but himself only.

Truly JP, I totally respect you and what you have done for CC regarding clans and I don't want to continue this. So I'm sorry this situation even reared it's ugly head. So I will speak for my clan now ( hope you agree Brock ), we want to have fun, but play within the rules and no-one intentionally tried to break anything it just happened.

Yeah, "new" A&A. I couldn't stomache the old type. lol It wasn't impressive at all. No decent places to play in Hawaii? I had a friend who played Pirates of the Revolution (and so on... it's a constructable strategy tabletop game with ships) all the time with me. Then he quit and now I've got nobody to play with. I've at least $300 into that game. lol Got some nice ships, too... Was never interested in WarHammer, Dungeons and Dragons etc. Too bloody or magical... witchcraft like, I guess.

And I'm going to skip all of the negativity...

Thanks, JefJef. :) 86 is right... It isn't over, just yet. We're not popping the champagne bottles and releasing prisoners, but it does look good. :P MM will be next. :?
