What happened to iamkoolerthanu? did you guys not have his pass because he deadbeated out of a couple games

Yeah, he became a Moderator so he couldn't share his pw with us then completely went MIA. No offense to you guys but his disappearance may have a swung a game or two from our favor to yours which in turn may have cost us the victory this round.

If this turns out as it seems to be suggested, congrats on the victory and good luck the next round. It was great playing with you guys and though it felt like us Reapers were seen as big underdogs, hopefully we made you guys a little nervous and sent a message to the clan world that Blue Oyster Cult was wrong and you in fact should actually Fear the Reaper...

I am sure his disappearance could have altered the game in a few of them which could have given us this challenge as a direct result. You guys played very impressively and at the very least i will tip my hat to you. LoW may escape with one here.

i count 20-20 in favor of LoW with all finished games.

Singles (worth 1 point) : 1-1 tie
Doubles (worth 1 point each) : 3-3 tie
Trips/Quads (each win worth 2 points) : 8-8 (points wise 16-16)

Which gives
LoW 20
GR 20

With 4 games left going (8 possible points)

tie breaker game may count (which low has, so GR needs to pull out 3 of the remaining 4 games)

ok I see the splits in singles. So actually 21.5 - 21.5, with 8 remaining.

no, there are no singles points awarded unless one player wins 3 or 4 out of 4. Otherwise 2-2 are ties and no points are awarded. If someone wins 3-1 or 4-0 then 1 point is awarded total for that series. Therefore 1 point each clan as the rest were all 2-2 ties.

So to answer your question from the post previous to your last (last on the 2nd page) there are a MAX of 51 points, but not going to be the case here, as there were so many splits where no points are awarded.

LoW needs to win any 2 (because we have already won the tie breaker).

3 1v1 games were tied 2-2 in the individual sets which is why they aren't being counted.
It's a shame there's not a better way to handle the unfortunate deadbeating

Thanks for the explanation reptile. Its been a great series but I think you guys will pull it out at the end, either by 1 game or the tiebreak.

Updated: gave LoW the supermax win and GR the KOTM win, but I also took Draknor trips from GR as we've fought our way back into it because of missed turns and now hold an advantage.

I would guess missed turns against that Grim Reaper Draknor team is about the only way to win. Those guys are amazing on that board.

Yes, crazyirish failed to post the tie-breaker in the first post (I think), but that was won by LOW.

In the 3 games remaining, GR cannot technically win the firsy of them (see above), so winning the other two would result in 24-24 and a yir-break win for LOW (if it came to that).

So, LOW are through, one way or anoither.
