Also, many thanks to Pats Company of the Grenadier Guards who fought tenaciously to the last intensity cube and region. A few bad drops, small maps, and, well, RANDOM events pushed them to start with a foot back, but it was a very challenging battle and EMPIRE officially endorses the first regiment as they continue on to the next bracket of this tournament. We think they can grab the 9th position!

Of course, we'll be fighting through the lines to place 1st!

Notwithstanding this change, we will still play this as a classic bracketed tournament (e.g. Winner of 1v16 will still play Winner of 8v9). Each "new" bracket will be reordered according to rank. However, we do not want to punish a clan for an upset and have to have them beat the top ranked clan every round.

Cheme, can you clarify this for me. I'm apparently new to the English language. If I'm correct, in the "winner's bracket" you stay with a brackets the way the tournament started, so EMPIRE will play the winner of G1/Myth. The "loser's bracket" will get re-ordered upon the start of the next round for them, however. So as of now, GG would be facing VDLL. Correct?

Thank you, but we are not nearly so confident to run the table here. AOC whopped the ever-loving shit out of us in the Clan League semi-finals last year, so we would obviously like a rematch there. I know G1 will push us to the brink as they have always been solid from top to bottom. If we are lucky enough to face BtFM or +the Legion+, it will surely take everything we have. There are several very deep clans here where there is not much drop off from their top player (if that is even identifiable) to their 12-15th best.
