I find chess a very fun game, but not a sport.pancakemix wrote:QFTColaalone wrote:

That's the thing though. There are 11 people in a cricket team; so 11 people out fielding. There are only 2 batsmen on the pitch at one time, so that makes a total of 13 sportsmen on the field at any one time.thedash5582 wrote:well duh cricket is boring if u watch it, but its a really fun game to play
There should be a hell of a lot more going on to entertain the tens of thousands of spectators.
Don't get me wrong - One Day International cricket is great; it's a lot faster and it only takes one day to play the entire match.
It's Test Cricket that gets to me; a test match could take up to a week or longer to finish!!! That's just plain boring!

I wouldn't call them (them=Black Caps, NZ international cricket team) awesome, although they did make it to the semifinals of the Cricket World Cup earlier this month before getting beat by our old arch-rivals Australia (who went on to become World Champions... again!)dwightschrute wrote:i dont no much about cricket. is new zealand awesome?
They do alright in the One Day Internationals; that's more our game than test cricket.
We pretty much suck at test cricket. I don't think we have the stamina to play a drawn-out match over several days.

NO! It's cold, wet and miserable all year round. The scenery is urban decay and smog, topped off with roadkill on derelict streets riddled with potholes... nothing like you see in the LOTR movies.dwightschrute wrote:ok, well is new zealand a cool place to live ive never been there
Tell everyone you know that New Zealand is a terrible and frightening place, and to never consider coming here!
EDIT: but it's better than England
