Zelda Mafia ~ Town Wins! Hyrule is Safe

Ganondorf had been very confident with his plan to destroy Hyrule. So confident, in fact, that he decided to take a break and work on his musical biography: "The Legend of Ganondorf"

However, right in the middle of his tap dance finale a bomb came sailing in through the window and landed at his feet. Surprisingly, this was not the first time this had happened. The night before a similar bomb had sailed through the same window and injured him. This time the bomb was better placed though and soon the evil lord had been destroyed. As he died, the Staff of Dreams, carrying Zelda's piece of the triforce, shattered.

Elsewhere, Link had been stalking his newest prey. This younger link had been acting strange and the older one was going to put an end to it. He drew his sword and charged. The younger link, seeing the older one attacking, shot his switchhook at him and sent him flying. In the sudden chaos, the sword got switched around and killed its wielder. The younger link chuckled at the irony of it and went to his bed to sleep. When he woke in the morning, his switchhook was mysteriously missing.

Wow, so we have a pro bomb link that targeted ganndorf twice in a row! thats awesome.

Now for the second part of the story. / Was a vigi link who I guess was town submarining. My role is Link with a switchhook (Town self-bus driver) So I can bus myself and 1 other person. So I thought I needed to switch myself with an inactive person so if I was targeted at least we lose someone that was inactive. So last night (my first action, because I joined this game D3) I switched myself and /. I was going to switch to Comm9, but I already know I am going to take a lot of heat for not voting Killboy and even defending him. If I got Comm9 killed I would undoubtedly be lynched. The reason I am roleclaiming is also because I am now vanilla, as my item has been stolen.

Sorry /, gg, that is extremely ironic, and if I were in your position, I would have vig-killed me too.

I will write up a separate post later tonight explaining my position on killboy and also talk about potential scum who also defended him.

ok MoB Deadly I see you are now vanilla. I wonder if Maple or the others can also give abilities as well as take them? Or if your loss is because of the attempted vig kill?

alright, rds, who did you roleblock last night? We may or may not be able to clear some townies.

Interesting that both a mafia member and a town died. I would at first have said that mafia killed / and then the vig killed the GF, but from flavor it seems that's not the case. it seems the vig ironically caused his own death and the GF was killed by someone else. It's doubtful the mafia would have killed their own GF so I suspect there was another busdrive or something going on or there's another vig who killed the GF and then the mafia kill was blocked. This is where rds comes in. Who he roleblocked could give us an indication of what might have happened.

If there's a bomb vig, I believe he needs to claim now. That would prove that town killed Ganon, and it wasn't a busdriven mafia. It would also mean that rds likely blocked mafia last night (though it's a bit odd they weren't in the scene at all).

I thought I explained my reasoning. There's a chance that busdriven mafia killed Ganondorf. However, if we know a vig killed him, then rds almost certainly roleblocked mafia.

I guess we could start with rds telling us who he roleblocked, and see what that person has to say for himself.

*I was in a hurry and forgot to include one Night action.....*

Also during the night, the wizzrobe returned to the tree he had tried to burn before. Now that pesky link didn't have a potion, no one could stop him from burning it into the ground. A single fireball was all it took. In the morning, all of the forest mourned the loss of their eldest member.

ok, so this means that this must be the mafia kill. Unless we want to blame another vig for this.
So it looks like we still have another vig (or maybe JOAT) and the mafia made their kill.

But I still think knowing who rds roleblocked may come in handy as it might be able to help us clear townies.

Since I can't see the game starting with 2 vigs, the bomb makes sense as a gift. Also, now that we know we had a town item-gifter and a town item-enhancer, it only makes sense that the item-thief is mafia-aligned to balance the game.

I have a case for D4, but I'd like to hear from rds & Victor first.
