Hello all!!

This tournament is part of my “conquer your map” series. This is a series of double-elimination tournaments, starting with classic and working down the list through every map and finishing with random. When a new map comes out (I will not be including beta), I will be creating a new tourney on it immediately in addition to all other running tourneys. After going through every map, if I’m still going of course (don’t worry, I do see how difficult it will be to actually finish something of this magnitude, but its worth a try), I will host a grand finale tournament with all the winners (seeded by map rank on the map you are representing). I will be hosting between 4 and 8 tourneys at a time, all with 10 days of sign-ups. I don’t expect anyone to join even half although you are welcome. I won’t even be playing all of them myself.

Sign ups will be open for approximately 10 days, which means I will close sign ups on August 1st. Unless I don’t have the minimum 16 players required for a tournament I will begin on this date. If I don’t have enough, I will assume no one wants to play this map anyway and cancel the tournament.

This will be a very simple double elimination tournament. Seeding will be based on score at the time I add you to the list. This means that some players will receive byes through what I am calling the “qualification round”. But don’t worry; you will still get a second chance in the loser’s bracket if you lose in this round.

The map for this particular tournament will be 8 Thoughts
The settings will be the same for all of the tourneys:
1v1
auto
sequential
escalating
unlimited
sunny (except for a couple of maps= treasures of Galapagos, the age of realms maps, the feudal maps, etc)

when you show one of ?? does that mean you will go with 10, 32 or 64 or does that mean something in between meaning some players would get byes

good question.
there will be byes for the highest ranked players if I get an uneven number. The only rule for total players is that I have the minimum 16.

normally I would no longer be accepting sign-ups, however I am currently waiting on the results from the poll on the classic edition of this series, so I am not going to be starting any new tournaments for about a week. If It still hasn't filled up I'll cancel it, but for now, I'm going to just start it whenever we get to 16 players.
