Good concept for a quickieEvil DIMwit wrote:Wow, I've been working so hard, I'm already up to Draft 6
I notice in your post Thu Apr 05, 2007 9:41 pm, that you actually got that place that everyone is calling West NZ - you got its name correct.
What happened between then and Draft 6?
Did you suddenly feel the Austrians from Europe would enjoy a climate change? or had they invaded before the game even starts.
Please, if you get the names of every other territory correct, then at least give us this courtesy....

I appreciate your concern for my geographic sanity. However, as I have yet to hear any complaints from the Scandinavians, Southeast Asians, residents of any African country with a proper name, Americans, Soviets, East Indians, Washingtonians, or whoever Andy is, you may understand my reluctance to return your land to its un-childified name. If, however, you all reach a consensus on this change, I may be willing to reverse it.cairnswk wrote:Good concept for a quickieEvil DIMwit wrote:Wow, I've been working so hard, I'm already up to Draft 6![]()

Yeah, it's probably been enough time now. I think I'll post the new poll with the top three here, and then some of the ones EvilOtto suggested earlier that I like. Also if anyone else any other brilliant ideas, post away.Coleman wrote:I think you should remake the poll with the top 3 options being the only options. Or just start calling it World 0.5. I'd be cool with that too.

Thanks, KEYOGI. The new poll is up. The top answer or two here will go head-to-head (possibly head-to-head-to-head) with World 0.5 in the next poll.
And now for something completely different: Draft 7

Nice update, bonuses are easy to find now ( even for a slowpoke like me
)
I like the concept of the crayons strewn out there, a nice addition to the background.
Maybe have the map on a sheet and the borders of the background beeing a table or something? Would add something as it stays kinda empty. Or maybe a scrapbook concept ( I know young students use those in their first years here...) Anyway, your map
.
EDIT: Actually..I don't think there would be enough space..so nvm it. Sorry.
Continue on it, I would love to see it beeing playable one day.

The crayons are a little distracting. Maybe change those or not have them at all?

It's a little late, but Draft 8 can't wait. It's fate. Bait.

Give the little kid a break, he can't be brilliant all the time. I'm sure Evil DIMwit will torture better names out of him soon enough.mibi wrote:im not feeling the names.... East North South africa? boring! Andys mountains and more russia are the best names out there. you are mixing clever names with mundain names.
