Is this still going on? Been waiting on our Round 2 game for quite awhile. It looks like half our opposing team has dropped their invites as well.

I'm still waiting for some reserves...Sorry about that. Seems no one is interested. If no one signs up by the time the game drops, I'll just advance you to the next round.

this is a remark on the last pm u wrote ; U state this is taking to much time so why not make it a round robin tournament , the team that wins the quad moves on to the next round. To me what u are trying now as a change will just make it take more time and games ? I must say i find it also regretable u did not discuss with us , the players who play this tournament.....before u decided to make that change.

i agree with pascalleke.
in my opinion the format of this tourney is very interesting and that is what attracted me to this game.
with the current format, the teams get to know the opponents strategy and can decide on a way to counter it in the next game. basically it comes down to the fact that all players in a team must be eliminated in order for the other team to advance, thus even if it comes down to 1 vs 1 where one team has 3 eliminated players and the other team has none, the under dog still has a chance of going through to the next round (assuming that one player wins 4 1vs1 games in a row)

with the new format. we play only 4 games all at the same time. this doesnt give the teams a chance to learn each others tactics and basically comes down to good dice and how the territories are distributed.

I much prefer we continue the tounrey the way it is now.

the playing field has been cut down to half and it should move along faster now, so i see no reason for changing the format.

finally many players here do noe have a premiun account, and have signed up since its stated that only one slot is needed at all times.

Maybe a way to partially speed up this tournament, wihtout changing the tournament original set up, would be to find a co-director to help Gillican to set up the new games soon after the previous ones end: in fact, I do believe that one of the main reasons why this tounrament be lasting so much, other than its specific set up, be the time delay between a game and the subsequent one that often can last even more than one week!

Or anyway, we could implement a system where each team notify Gillican (or the eventual co-director) when a game ends, in order to quickly set up a new one.

This here is the issue. I am not able to create games freely. I have to wait for someone with such power, to be online at the same time as myself, to open the map so I can start new games.
