This event will be a double elimination tournament for 64 players. Freemiums are welcome but need to keep 2 slots open for this tournament, due to number of games to be played. They must also have completed 50 games.
This is a preview of the type of tourney I will likely be running for the TPAYear2 in January. This gives people an idea of how the game play will go, with the exception of actual finishing places for those finishing 32 or higher.
This will also be a seeded tournament, similar to an NCAA basketball tournament bracket. Please post your score when joining and I will record individual player scores when I sign them up. If you do not post your score before tourney begins, you will be assigned low score and the lowest available seed. As I record all the individual scores, the seeding will be as follows:
The highest 4 scores will be #1 seeds
The next highest 4 will be #2 seeds
and so on, until the lowest 4 scores are #16 seeds.
Players will be broken up into 4 "separate" 16 player brackets in order to determine the 64 man field. The 16 player matchups will be assigned with one of each seed. I will then place them in a seeded 1-16 bracket 4 times in a 64 man field. Bracket will be available for viewing when tourney is full and seedings are assigned.
Game play will be as follows:
Each round is best 2 of 3 games (Sent 2 at a time, with a third if necessary)
Tourney Final will be best of 5 (1st 2 sent, then additional games to follow)
