They'll probably need to be the only team that enters as well..........even then it'll be a close callSniper08 wrote:arsenal have to create a trophy in order to win it

The Mighty Mighty Metros 3 pts
Boca Jr 1 pt
Always-3rd FC 1 pt
PSG 0 pts
A familiar position for Arsenal to be in
This is the part where sam levi spouts off about how MLS is an inferior league and how Americans should give up altogether on the sport.

Re: Football (real)
LOL we cant even win our own competition xD We are basically ajax, a club that cant win ANYTHING anymore and just sells all our players.
Either way, i think Man City are real contenders now, Aguero and Tevez would be a great combo if they can make the latter stay, and the likes of Silva and Zabaleta show they have quality all over the park.
Hit a nerve did i? >.< Nah the MLS is improving, hell its awesome that teams like the Sounders can get crowds as big as certain Premier League crowds, but you cannot say its as high quality as the Premier League AT THE MOMENT. I have no doubt it will improve, thats shown by players wanting to go there.GreecePwns wrote: This is the part where sam levi spouts off about how MLS is an inferior league and how Americans should give up altogether on the sport.

Re: Football (real)
Now that was terrible first half. Backe only putting out one forward in a new formation, Marquez plodding along as if his starting CB role is guaranteed (not at all), Solli is invisible just like yesterday.
One forward never works.

Re: Football (real)
jimboston, don't get me started. Football was invented years before American Football. It's called football because the majority of the handling of the ball is done with the feet, and in America, the feet barely ever touch the ball. You have a weird game of rugby going on, although you Americans are obviously such big pussies you need to hide behind massive pads and hard helmets, wearing tiny nut cups to protect the balls you probably don't have.
The original idea of football was conceived by the Ancient Greeks and Romans over one and a half thousand years ago!!! American football is only a mere couple of hundred years old at best.
The US of A is a result of the European migrations, and all that was involved. Long story short, we were here first, with the proper sport of football.
Take your American perversion elsewhere. American citizens who act like jimboston about this subject need their heads caved in. Sorry, but that's the truth, so swallow your pride and admit it. Keep going jim, you'll find yourself on my foe list.

also... you kinda hit the nail on the head... soccer isn't original... it's a derivative of rugby too.

Re: Football (real)
FOOTBALL was the first game not a derivative, all others(rugby, aussie rules, gaelic football) decended from Football."American Football" decended from rugby more than Football.
gtfo of our thread jim and all others who think they can claim the name Football for that pussy rugby americans play.
its common fuckin sense you play a game with your feet you call it football you play a game with your hands you dont call it football you call it handball or has logic escaped Americans
