CC Mapmaker awards

Concise description:

• The guys who do all the hard work in creating the lovely graphics and XML-ing that give us the battlefields to play on deserve more recognition IMHO. I propose something extra beyond the current medal system for them

Specifics/Details:

• A Roll of Honour section that shows which map has been the most played, crediting the creators, updated weekly/monthly on the home page, and the most prolific creators
• A member voting system where everyone can vote for their favourite map of the moment/top 3 favourites in order. CC Oscars?
• Similar to the last point, but on release as a Beta map, let everyone vote to Like or Dislike the map (a la Youtube videos) and the most liked map gets another section in the Roll of Honour

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• Encourages the guys who do so much to do even more

unnecessary, the site is just as affected by those in the tournaments, clans, and technical departments as any other.

I think he has a point I mean we could all do without tournaments and clans but without maps ? If we didn't have maps we wouldn't need any tech guys either! The variety of maps is what makes CC unique! We should encourage it much more so that more people want to try it!

And without tournaments or clans, I can say without any doubt that I wouldn't have ever renewed past my first year's subscription.
