It was your fragments.

one of the last major contributors to troops in Iraq

I didn't know if you meant least or last because last doesn't really make sense in that sentence.

Yes, I agree. Politics are made up of "illusions". However, there is no abundance of illusions on one side. Democrats and Republicans are equally illusion-ized.

The fact that politics are made up of some lies does not mean that you can't find credible sources. Research the effect of the Iraq war on neighboring nations in the Middle East. Research how the economy is on the rise. Do anything but listen to Michael Moore *shudders*

Meh I'm not liberal, I'm independent so I didn't vote. Researching is fine and all but you will still be depending on someone's opinion whether it's a book on history or economics. I've found that if you think through the issues you can make better answers than throwing out rhetoric; which is what every democracy I have studied has done...

whyd o you keep saying do anything but listen to michael moore? michael moore only tells the truth. yes, he is bias, and of course rrepublicans and bush have done some good things, but they have also done alot of stupid and bad things which michael moore points out. he isnt a liar he just tells you the plain facts on things.

Because the best way to counter it is to say he doesn't use credible sources and it won't matter if it's true or not. People will believe that if they hear it enough without any response from Moore. That's why people now don't like him as much as they did when he had made Bowling for Columbine. He had also pissed people off by talking at the oscars or emmys about some stuff as well.

Look I don't care one way or the other but read what I said

Because the best way to counter it is to say he doesn't use credible sources

I just gave you the reasoning to why they say it. They don't like him and instead of giving numerous arguments to prove he lied, they prefer to say he isn't credible to give him a reputation. Try to understand this is assessing how the system works, not blaming or name-calling. I will say that I have asked people about this when his latest film came out and they said "I don't know where but atleast 50% of the stuff in that movie is made up garbage or interpretations." It's much easier for them to say it and accept it than to actually argue against him.

To get this back on topic:

My favourite ruling coalition in the country I currently live in would be either SPD + FDP or CDU/CSU + The greens. Unfortunately neither is likely to happen in my lifetime.
