Freestyle: Get ready for your next move e-mail

Post by PapaGeek »

Concise description:
  • We already get e-mails when it is our turn to move. Would it be possible to receive an e-mail when the last player in a freestyle game starts their move?
Specifics/Details:
  • When the last player in a freestyle game starts their move, send a “Get ready for your next move” e-mail to all of the other players in the game.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • Being in the game and ready when the last player completes their move and opens it up for everyone to take their next move could be significant.
  • Hitting begin turn as soon as the last player is finished can make the difference in getting your bonus or not.
  • OK, hitting F5 to keep checking is obsessive, but we’ve all done it!

I can see advantages of this being an option, but not one that would be widely used.

Thanks for the comeback,
I realize that not as many players play freestyle, so this would have limited usefulness. But, since you agree that it would have some advantage, any way to check with the development team to see if it is an easy change or one that will require a lot of QA.

I don't think it would require a lot of work, however, only Suggestions that get a lot of support usually happen. Being low on legwork isn't the prime factor on getting your idea submitted.
