But is that what Obama said he would do? I'm pretty sure Obama is on the record saying he would fix the problems and bring hope and change and his trillion dollar spending programs would work. I dont remember him promising "I'll make sure it doesn't get worse." The reality is his programs did make it worse, and now we have to pay the interest on those mistake.

Anyway! Mugabe should be number 1 on this poll.

Zimbabwe was the "breadbasket of sub-Saharan Africa," and Mugabe eventually turned his country into complete shit. A huge percentage of his people's lives and futures were completely ruined--probably, 99% of them unless they could escape. He and his policies serve as the modern-day example of hyper-inflation. Tony Blair, Bush, and Obama don't even come close to being this terrible of a leader.

Kim Jong-il.. maybe. At least, he's fighting a cold war and has the huge incentive to develop weapons to deter the US and its Allies from bitching NK around. His economic policies are surprising good enough given that NK hardly has any suitable land for agriculture. He took power during a huge economic downturn, but his policies seem to have stabilized the economy and have been reporting positive (which might be rubbish government reports).

Kim Jong-il receives so many votes because people in the fora have been convinced by the media (with very much spin) that Kim Jong-il is evil incarnate, and yada yada yada. They would vote for Mugabe had Mugabe more recent media coverage...

The Iranians? Khomeini restored order to his country after a recent revolution, then fought a terrible war against Iraq, which the US was happy to fuel. Iran has become much less "socially liberal," which its people were openly before he and his boys came to power. ...

My original reply was obama. but Ithink that was just my first thought jumping out to the keyboard. Actually what it is there is not one single leader that can be said is the worst.The world is allready controlled by a hanfull of 1 govt elites who let the individual countries and their citizens think they controll their own destinies. They all deomonize each other but their actually one. When ever one come along that stands up to them they swat them down like a skeeter. All those on that list plus many more like obama,bush(both of them) mccain,rommney kennedysand oh so many more are in this conspiracy. Repubs, Dems, socialists,comminusts ,tree huggers,facisits the whole bunch

Good point, although it comes from 1984. Remember, just because you're paranoid, don't think they're not after you.

No matter which party wins, we get a big bank candidate. And no matter who is in charge, the banks give them tons of money and get free reign to turn our economy into a Ponzi scheme for their own benefit, make millions, screw over everybody else and get off Scot free.
