I would much rather have qwerts suggestion in place
I like the concept that they tried to do with the current system, and it seemed like a great idea in theory, but as of right now, the current way is just bad
the current system is awful the old system was ok but qwerts suggestion is great.the most important thing now is this "update" gets removed and the old system is put in place.

you type the first letter and it took you to that part of the list. type 2, 3 or 4 letters and you may go straight to the tournament you are looking for.

to be fair, I'm not sure if the old system allows to type more than 1 letter.. I don't think it do, but nit sure.

yes it did, but you have to type it fluently, not wait. I used to type the first 2 or 3 letters
ahhh.. so the new one just removed the ability to see a list of choices before picking a specific one, which is important.
the old one had me typing the letters, every single time, and was a HUGE pageload...
the new one has me using autocomplete and i simply double tap in the box and see my last entry's. I select the right one and done. The only player who could get into trouble with this is highlander, because of the sheer number of tournaments, but other then that, its quite fine actually.

I love the new system, it takes 2 sec compared to ainute. Before heaven forbid I make a mistake and have to look up a tournament twice bcuz I hit a wrong button....:/

the new system does not have an auto-complete function
Lackattack is currently working with the Tournament Directors, and I think they've hit a solution that will satisfy most everyone. Stay tuned over the next few days.

I like the update, but maybe have it explained better to some members, cause out of 64 players in one of my tournies, 10 of them have already Pmed me or posted in the thread saying that they cannot find the games using the new system, yet the rest of them find it perfectly... :/
