No, you can add 2 vowels free of charge even if you have more than 7 letters, according to the rule change posted here.

The two free vowels don't score points if you use them!

It wasn't until you asked this question that I really looked at it and realized -- DJENRE is winning. That has made me rethink the whole idea of bringing in a reserve. It just doesn't seem fair to the others to bring in a reserve and let him inherit a winning hand.

I thank you very much, Sir Sebstar, for responding quickly to my call for reserves! I apologise if I seem like a real ass changing my mind.

I think the fairest thing to do is this:

Since DJENRE has not been here and not responded to my posts or PMs, he is disqualified from having a protected list. That means ALL of DJENRE's 11 letters are available for challenge. In order to balance the numbers, all players who are eligible to make a challenge get an extra one. That means those players who could have made one challenge can now make two, and those who previously could not make any challenge can now make one.

I will now proceed to compile and post the updates with the letters available for challenge.

Then, Sebstar, if you are still willing to take over DJENRE's hand, knowing that you might have to fight and defend all 11 letters, you are very welcome to it. I will understand if you are not willing to stay on those terms, but I will be very grateful if you do.

Ok, rmjw and xSek both want to challenge Irish for his S. xSek's challenge outrank's rmjw's, so it will be xSek. However, Sebstar also has an S available, so just to save time I will just transfer rmjw's challenge to Sebstar. Dazza doesn't want to challenge at all, and DoomYoshi goes for chapcrap's L. So we're just waiting for Hannibal to decide.
