Worst movies you've ever seen?
What are some of the worst movies you have ever seen?
For me, it would be Dragon Ball Evolution (ruined a great series) and Avatar the Last Airbender (f*ck you James Cameron, I'll call it by the real name).
DBE, well, they turned a fun loving, easy going, simple loving kid into a an emo high schooler with girl troubles. This movie should BURN IN HELL! Thanks for ruining one of my favorite shows from childhood.
Avatar the Last Airbender. What the hell. 1. His name is Aang, NOT Ong. 2. Where was the comedy? That's a major part of what made the series so good. Why is Aang so broody? He's supposed to be an energetic kid that has some moments of doubt. Those moments are supposed to be his entire life! This is yet another movie that should BURN IN HELL!
Both of these movies butchered once great stories. Both had a TON of potential, but both sunk faster than a rock.
Hollywood is pissing me off more and more. Now with the Yogi Bear movie (Yogi and Booboo were actually pretty good, but that was the movies only redeeming quality), and soon to be a Smurfs movie. Whatever happened to quality entertainment? At least the Hobbit movie should be good.

All the F-grade movies (not even good enough to be B-movies) that Sci-Fi has chosen to show in place of its shows that actually have a real plot and story.

Saw II through the end. The first one was the only good one.

Probably never heard of this on, but Places in the Heart was awful. Had to watch it for religion class, and it sucked pretty bad.

El amor en los tiempos del cólera
(or Love in the time of Cholera)
Now, I'm not one for romance type movies, and I only watched this the other night because my girlfriend had just finished the book, and loved it, and had to see the movie - especially because she seems to have an infatuation with Javier Bardem.
- it was awful (and my girlfriend hated it more because apparently, as all book to movies do, they got some fundamental things wrong)
My biggest problem was that it was set in Colombia, however they all spoke English, but with a Colombian accent. I guess that isn't that bad, except then random extras on the street would be speaking Spanish... So either film it all in Spanish (and put subtitles) or get everyone speaking English...

WRONG! I hate people who think that a movie with the slightest hint of a scary situation is unacceptable to children. You sir are a tool.Princess and the Frog - not for little kids
Also my vote for worst movie goes to Attack of the clones. Pretty much they got everything wrong with that one.

Re: Worst movies you've ever seen?
Agreed. Also when did the Fire Nation become India? Now I'm not saying that the reason the movie was bad because they made changes to the original concept. I'm saying that it sucked because all those changes were Fucking awful. Also it was terribly written and terribly acted.Avatar the Last Airbender. What the hell. 1. His name is Aang, NOT Ong. 2. Also, this and I Robot both completely buggered the concepts they were based on. They were so far from the stories that I don't know why they even paid for the rights to the names.Sniper08 wrote:i am legend - will smith talking to a dog for half the film just terrible probably one of 2 of his movies that were awful the other being wild wild west.

Not a great movie but I don't think it was extraordinarily bad. Just your average Hollywood attempt at reducing a 12-hour read to a 2-hour movie.Sniper08 wrote:i am legend - will smith talking to a dog for half the film just terrible probably one of 2 of his movies that were awful the other being wild wild west.

Re: Worst movies you've ever seen?
You're kidding, right? Are you talking about the Peter Jackson version? That version was horrible. As much as I like Jackson's early work (Bad Taste and Dead Alive, etc.), King Kong was a terrible movie. It mainly consisted of long scenes where King Kong and the girl kept staring at each other.shieldgenerator7 wrote:King Kong - first two versions

It's only redeeming quality was the epic battle in the chasm with the giant insects (which was removed from the original for censorship).
Originals were way better. Peter Jackson lost his marbles on that one.
