On a school day, I wake up at 6:25, to catch at bus at 7:05, get to school at 7:20, then wait 40 minutes till school actually starts.
On a weekend/day I don't have to go to school, it depends on the time I go to sleep the other day.

Another reason to not believe students when they tell me that they're not coming to class because they're "having serious personal problems this semester."

Me too, actually. I used to struggle really badly with insomnia for years. The final straw came in February last year when I was supposed to go on a course with one of the partners at the accountancy firm I work for. I was supposed to meet with him at 2:30pm - I didn't even wake up until 3:30pm...I hadn't been able to get to sleep until about 8am that morning.The1exile wrote:6 am on weekdays, usully 9-10 on weekends... I used to be much later, to the point of missing appointments at 3pm bcause I'd only got up 10 minutes earlier.
Hey, not my fault, I'd come if my body permitted me to go living with 4 hours of sleep a night, but unfortunately it doesn't. Besides I got most of my lectures changed to be on later. It's not that I'm opposed to work per-se, it's just against my delicate constitution.btownmeggy wrote:qeee1 wrote:I'm diurnally challenged, it's 3am now for example. I like being awake at night though, less people around, less obligations, quieter, darker. The only downside is sometimes you can feel extremely lonely.
