The side effect if that is true would be that haggis would therefore be lying. Not considering that until icon gets back to us on that.

Either way, one of kwan or haggis is lying. That said, evidence brought up so far suggests that haggis tried to bluff his way into a town lynch but that failed.

I'll gladly sacrifice Haggis. If he turns out to be the sun god, we can then lynch blakebowling and kwanton right after that.

So let me get this straight, I fakeclaimed and JUST HAPPENED to randomly claim your character out of a nearly infinite pool of choices, not only that, but you also JUST HAPPENED to actually investigate me before this act.
That's your story?
And you guys are buying it?
Why in god's name would I do that D2? And why the hell would I provide a fakeclaim instead of just saying I got kwan guilty? And what are the odds that out of all the possible roles I'd pick one that blake, the dude who supposedly investigated me has?safariguy5 wrote:Either way, one of kwan or haggis is lying. How about we sacrifice the obvious lyncher first?karelpietertje wrote:I'll gladly sacrifice Haggis. If he turns out to be the sun god, we can then lynch blakebowling and kwanton right after that.

What are the options here:
1. I am investigation immune(godfather?) and have decided to randomly try to frame kwan on D2, not only that but I unexplicably produce a claim for some reason, this claim just HAPPENS to be the actual role of blake, who also just HAPPENS to have investigated me last night.
2. I'm telling the truth and blake is clumsily trying to lynch me. First he went with the vanilla thing, then safari gave a possible explanation for that, so he decided to fakeclaim my role just to make sure.
Which seems more likely?
Don't rush this, we've got two more days, and think about it, it's clear what blake is doing.

Woah. Looks like I skimmed a pretty important post there. I didn't see blake claimed sun god. This makes things interesting because in fact I am the sun god.

Last night I investigated safari (well I had to after pushing that lynch day 1) and got town.
I think we're looking at paranoid/sane/naive cops here. This actually makes sense given the role too. Over time there hasn't just been one "Sun God". Almost every major culture and civilization had a deity that was their sun god. Egyptians, Chinese, Aztecs, Greeks, Romans etc. And notice that the name of our role is just "Sun God." It's not specific like Ra or Helios or the aztec one (starts with a T I think). More than one sun god over history and more than one sun god in this game?
Also, multiple cops is also a convenientently simple way for a mod to fill up a NV mafia game >.>

Re: Sully's No Vanilla Mafia #2 [Day 2] *Killers Off-Duty?*
Your deduction why it's logical they are all called Sun God because there were multiple Sun Gods throughout history is weird.
If these Sun Gods are all different Sun Gods, it makes more sense to give them the specific names.
However, it indeed seems that we're looking at multiple Sun Gods.
blake comes closest to being the naive Sun God imo....
unvote for now. If all the 'Sun Gods' agree that they might not all have the true 'Sun God' vision, we'd have to wait another night. Of course, any semi-investigative roles (watchers/trackers) will probably figure out that they have to target these key persons, but I don't feel like killing off Sun Gods.

Re: Sully's No Vanilla Mafia #2 [Day 2] *Killers Off-Duty?*
That's weird that there are so many Sun Gods. However, we NEED a lynch. Can't have a repeat of Day 1. SO giving the Sun Gods time to investigate each other(???) would mean we have to go back to saf's original reasoning...unvote vote hank

Re: Sully's No Vanilla Mafia #2 [Day 2] *Killers Off-Duty?*
Ok so by this reasoning, then kwan is probably the sane one, haggis insane and blake the naive one. Sounds possible. That also makes both haggis and kwan useful. Which means I'm going to go back to the original post I had and go for the dead weight.

Re: Sully's No Vanilla Mafia #2 [Day 2] *Killers Off-Duty?*
Actually, now that I think about it, I still think we should go with blake for the lynch.
1. That move he pulled is still very shady in my view, don't like it at all.
2. His Sun God thing could still be a fakeclaim, unlikelier now, but still a distinct possibility.
3. Even if he's also sun god. Who's to say the sun god's don't have opposing alignments?
4. Even IF he is sun god and even IF he is town and this is all a wacky misunderstanding, he's still likely naive for getting me as a VT in a NV game, so I'm almost certain that even in the worst case we're not risking a cop.
It's not a brilliant case, but the alternative is "lynch the inactive dude".
My vote stands.

Re: Sully's No Vanilla Mafia #2 [Day 2] *Killers Off-Duty?*
I'd like to add even IF he's a sun god and even IF he's town, we have clear targets to lynch next day. i.e. the others who claimed sun god.
Re: Sully's No Vanilla Mafia #2 [Day 2] *Killers Off-Duty?*
If there are multiple sun gods though, how can we know that the other sun gods are lynch targets?

Re: Sully's No Vanilla Mafia #2 [Day 2] *Killers Off-Duty?*
Not necessarily, I agree that the theory of 3 cops, 1 sane, 1 insane, and 1 naive makes sense. Doesn't overpower town too much. In fact, if one turned up town, it would make this theory stronger not weaker.00iCon wrote:I'd like to add even IF he's a sun god and even IF he's town, we have clear targets to lynch next day. i.e. the others who claimed sun god.
