I was reading a poll years ago where Americans voted the number one influential book in their life. Number 1 was some book about jews or something. Number two was Atlas Shrugged. I am surprised it took so long for a movie to be made. King Vidor did such a good job on his Rand movie.

you guys know that Ayn Rand had to get help from the government near the end of her life, right?
i enjoyed reading her books as a youth, and they are inspirational, but they are about as practical as communism.
