He seems very satisfied with it. And why denigrate him in such a way? If he chooses that path and also enjoys it (as is evident with his 20-20 interview), then I see no problem with it.

The problem is apparently not current drug use, but that his brain was likely damaged from past use. He may well now need medication to be "normal".
