Edmund died in 955, and was succeeded by his younger brother, Edred.
Edred's short reign was marred by several uprisings in Northumbria. First led by Eirikr Bloodaxe, later by Olafr Kvaran.

This tournament will be 1v1, single elimination. The first two rounds will be single games, after that the quarter finals will be best of three, semi finals best of five and finals best of seven.
If you so wish, when signing up you can state your support for the northern rebels, choose either Eirikr or Olafr, to fight for an independent Northumbria.
