Under "Join A Game," when clicking the Join Public Games" tab, make the results sortable (with clickable column headings) and filterable (with dropdowns.)
Specifics/Details:
Each column heading should be clickable
"Game Type" does alpha sort of game type
Same for Initial Troops, Play Order, Spoils, Reinforcements, FoW and Map Type
Clicking on Players sorts by how many slots are still open
Filter dropdown for each heading to yield results directly on that page without having to go to Game Finder
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
It's great for the community and good testimony to the site developers that when clicking on "Join Public Game" there are usually hundreds from which to choose. But it does make it rather tedious to click through page after page of games that you're not interested in joining. True, you can always go to Game Finder if you know what you're looking for but I find that browsing "Join Public" often inspires me to try new maps/settings that I wouldn't have searched for in Game Finder. Allowing a sort directly from that screen would bridge the gap between expanding my use of the site and making it easy to use. Thanks for your consideraion.

This is already available through the "GAME FINDER" selection.
...I prefer a man who will burn the flag and then wrap himself in the Constitution to a man who will burn the Constitution and then wrap himself in the flag.

I read the suggestion. This is still available through Game Finder. You simply don't specify a map/settings in Game Finder and it will grab all maps/settings.
Other than the sortable headings, which I agree would be nice for both Join A Game and Game Finder.

I don't understand, woodruff, is this suggestion already part of game finder? If so, please let me know how to do this...

The sortable headings are the whole point of this suggestion.
So basically Game Finder + Sorting options? That would be pretty useful. It would let you browse your options without having to consistently reenter things into the game finder screen.
