I like maps with 40 or so territories, not too hard and not too easy.
Since I already did a 42 territory tournament, I wanted to do a similar one.
There are 15 maps with 43 to 45 territories on them. This tournament is based on those maps.

You will play all the maps at once each round.
You will be randomly placed into groups of 8 each round.
There will be four rounds.
The top four in each group move on to the next round, where groups will be randomly made up again.

second (last player eliminated) gets 7 points
third 6 points
fourth 5 points
fifth 4 points
sixth 3 points

Groups will be redone each round through http://www.random.org
Join games within 48 hours or you are Eliminated and a reserve will take your place.
If multiple players are tied with the same score, a tie-breaker game will be played with the same settings with all the players tied.
If two players are tied, the first tie-breaker will be most wins in that group, then most second places, then most thirds, then most fourths, then most fifths, then most sixths, then most sevenths, then if they are still somehow tied, we will go to points in the previous round (if there is one) or have a 1v1 game with the same settings on the Classic map.
If a player that is advancing suddenly become freemium, then the next highest score in that group will advance.
I reserve the right to put round caps on games if need be. I'll let you know. Probably will discuss this with someone.
