Major Games Series [new games suspended]

I've started the first of what I hope to be a series of games for majors. The game is open to any with the rank of major or higher.

Game Type: Standard
Play Order: Sequential
Map: Classic
Bonus Cards: Flat Rate
Fortifications: Unlimited

The password is "major".

The first game number is 305444. It's a five-player game.

I will start more if it looks like there is any demand for this sort of thing.

I guess I'm unclear on this, but are you trying to start something similar to Colonel games? Meaning you want others to post Major games here?

Not really, didn't know about Colonel games, which is not surprising because I haven't been a colonel yet.

What you suggest sounds like a good idea, that is a thread set up for a large variety of major games (to which anyone could add games). But I would suggest doing it in a separate thread.

I just set up this thread to start playing games with others of the same rank: so I lose less points when I lose, experience less problems with missed turns and deadbeating, and most importantly gain experience playing with better players than are available via game finder.

Only after I started did I think to keep track of the results of the games.

It's my intention to keep at least one open game available.

I picked the particular settings because they seem to be fairly popular and they are the ones I particularly enjoy playing.
