I still don't think it was effectivey explained how a kid couldn't mow enough lawns, at a reasonable enough rate, to make 25 dollars.

The other thought that occoured to me, upon re-reading the thread, was how his parents could pay for a travelling basketball team (which having since read an article on travelling soccer teams in The Guardian seems to cost a fair whack) but couldn't find 25 dollars.

Still, Demonfork got the pleasure of being a benefactor of sorts, so I guess the Karma righted itself well enough.

I don't have a creditcard, but PayPal is your friend in this matter. Can't remember how, but it was easy to do and I had my premium fairly quick. The money was taken from my regular bank-account.

even at 12 30 bucks is not that much i had around $300 at that age and i have never got allowance. so perhaps all you need to do is save money then you will be able to get it in no time

You can buy one that allows you to load money on it. Cost about 2 dollars total.
