The accused are suspected of:

Other: <Joining low ranked players games for points aka FARMING>

Game number(s):

Game 8152749
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]

Comments: I am getting sick of seeing these 2 guys joining newbies/very low ranked players games for easy pts. It may not be farming in the sense of setting up games but in my opinion this is worse.

Does this enhance newbies game experience, I think not. I appreciate there is prbably not a rule against this but can the rules not be changed or alernatively allow people to set games up where they won't be put off the site by players like this and others. You will often see games where these 2 have joined as team 2 and the low ranked player has joined has ditched the game when he sees these 2 have joined (rightly so).

I like other's think nothing will be done as higher ranked players seem to have a spell on the mods/admin but I am putting it out there for your thoughts/comments.

What he is saying is by the CC rules it may not be farming, but it should be. At least that is how I read it. I assume he thinks they are joining low ranks / new recruits all the same.

The current guidelines on farming suggest that as long as they are not intentionally joining in games to play against new recruits, it is not considered farming (something that I highly disagree with). That's why players like Gen.LeeGettinhed are still able to get away with either continuously luring low ranks to play freestyle 1v1 against him or join 1v1 freestyle hosted by low ranks.

C&A will not do anything serious regading serious targeting of *New Recruits*, except once the person has abused them in a hundreds games or so tell the suspects "don't do it again" and that's it as long as they don't do it again in the same way.

On a personal level I find no pleasure in doing what these gentlemen do, but they are perfectly within the rules to do so, just like the other dussins of other higher ranked people who use the same methods.

Basically according to CC rules, anyone past NR is fair game. I don't like it either, but that's the way it is. Any lower ranked person that doesn't want a certain high ranked duo to join their doubles games has a very swift solution to the problem at hand, the foe button.

With your extencive experience on CC I wonder if you really don't know this will come to nothing. If you do know that, then this is a spitefull meaningless report. There are people out there purposly abusing NRs for the record if your really interested in abuse of the rules.

tldr version; You can hardly get it to stick if it's NR's. If you think your gunna stick it to someone for farming PFC's then your sorely mistaken mate.

It's the same ole Alstergren farming method. It's just him and Crash doing it instead of JR.

Its pretty sad but some A list peeps need to stick with pathetic tactics like this.

a point that should be made is that with the dice/cards system of CC skill doesn't always mean victory and I suppose some people, like these, simply seek ways to convert their skill = certain victory.

hmsps should take this to callouts instead. Challenge the gents to a best of 11 or so... My money is on Crash & alster :) And that is said with the utmost respect to hmsps who is a gentlemen, and on his map/settings, a brutal player.

I think it's pathetic what these two are doing, joining games with all low ranks, just to make themselves look better. I would have a 70+% win ratio too, heck we all would if we all pulled these cheap tactics. They also have the reputation that heaven for bid they lose to a lower rank, they're the first to cry to the mods and accused them of being cheats.

The duo are in tournaments all the time, go join and see if you can even maintain a 40% win ratio agaisnt them, I'm not sure I could.

yep, if they only played tourney games they'd have a lower win% but 20 tourney games and 200 stat padding games = high win percentage

And what is Win Ratio? The same could be said about it as rank = Game Selection.

If I played only 1v1's I'd have a win ratio around 55% perhaps
If I grew skilled at quads and played with superb partners I might have a win ratio of 65%
If I played only 8player standard escalating I'd be lucky to have a 20% win ratio
If I was skilled at, and had a good internet connection I might have an 85% win ratio playing whatever noob joined at 1v1 FS speed.

Don't bother nit-picking at my selected procentages, it's only an example to illustrate a point.

I really cant be bothered to list his games but alstergren just joins a lot of low ranked players games by himself too. A lot of these are freemium so I would doubt they would part with their hard earned cash to join the site for real. I probably know that nothing will happen with these 2 or the many others but I personally cannot see why we cannot enact a rule change to stop this sort of thing happening in the future. Its just embarressing. I am embarressed for them.

That's what he does. I was invited to a Malta dubs to partner with a corporal and before I was able to accept ole AllStar joined it and foed me so I could not join it. Some cook ended up taking my spot...

Low class questionable cheap tactics. It is an abuse of the game and something any self respecting player would not want to be part of or associated with.

Well said :)

Time to stop talking about win ratio, guys... it means nothing.

For the record, while I strongly disagree with what they're doing, it must be kept in mind that they are still great players, as Arama86n said. I saw a few posts that made me think that those posters thought otherwise.

No "if" to it. It is a fact. Happened around a year ago. colton told me that after I had to drop the invite a cook was mysteriously invited into the game. And don't go thinking that Allstar didn't look to see who was invited... He carefully chooses his opponents and loads his games... ;)

He has since found a home on my foe list so he is not able to pre load any games I may be part of. ;)

It's time that his abusive game tactics become NOTED...

I'm certainly no fan of these tactics. However, I would point out that Colton's integrity hasn't shown to be particularly strong on this site. Is it possible he may have had some ulterior motive for saying that a cook was invited in?

You are correct but coltons integrity of almost zero still exceeds these type of tactics. Alster knew who was invited in that particular game. He carefully selects his opponents. He knew colton and I had a pretty nice win% in Malta. He also knew I wouldn't be able to join it with my being foed.

End of the day fact still stands, anyone who doesn't want alstergren joining their games can foe him. If alstergren doesn't want you joining his games he can foe you (which it appears he did).

As hmsps should well know, and as someone who follows C&A regularly like you or I jefjef, DO know, this report will come to nothing, as no rules were broken, so this might as well be locked and filed. Nothing more than baiting/flaming really, as, again, anyone who knows anything can see no rules were broken.
End of story.

Jez.... read through this right now.

1. hmsps files a C&A report despite that: "I probably know that nothing will happen with these 2 or the many others but I personally cannot see why we cannot enact a rule change to stop this sort of thing happening in the future." Seems like a Suggs & Bugs post he made here just to be able to flame. IMO hmsps should receive a warning for filing spurious reports.

2. jefjef - you constantly keep justifying the decision to put you on my foe list. I see no reason for you to go off-topic and flame. If you have any real and specific issues, and not just conspiracy theories, feel free to air them in an appropriate way. But your posts in this thread are just exhausting. IMO jefjef should receive a warning for flaming/off-topic/trolling etc.
